Great midsection coverage
A dear friend of mine is getting married in Detroit in July 2011. She happens to be a size 0 and a few of the other bridesmaids are no larger than a 2 so I was a bit concerned about finding a dress that would look amazing on me at a size 16.Since bride lives in MI and I live in MD I went to the Rockville location to try on a few gowns. I tried on several styles (strapless and one shoulder)but nothing made me feel "gorgeous", lol. The consultant gave me this gown to try on and it looked awful on me. We didn't even zip it up all the way to get a good look at the way it fit. The color was awful and the consultant said it was not flattering on me. One week later I went to visit the bride and we went to David's in Madison Heights, MI. I was given this dress again to try and immediately said "no, been there, done that". The consultant told me that the dress would disguise my midsection the way I wanted it to so I gave it another try. When I walked out of the fitting room there were other ladies trying on gowns and they all said WOW, you look amazing! The bride said that she loved the dress on me and I finally felt "Gorgeous"! I have wide shoulders and had to get it in a size 18. I am a 40C and was a bit worried about wearing a halter but the cleavage that shows isn't overwhelming. I feel like amazing in this gown. (I'm following through on my plan to tone up lose 10lbs before the wedding). I'm so glad that I gave it another try.

Excellent Purchase
I love this dress. My bridesmaids love the dress. It works great on a woman of any size. It fits every figure and looks good on anyone. It has the right shape and fabric which hides what you don't want seen, and hences your body curves. I would recommend this dress to everyone. I hope that it is one that will be around for a long time because it can be worn to anything not just weddings.

Please Don't Discontinue It
This is an amazing dress. First time I bought this dress in size 18 in cornflower color. It made me look fabulous despite extra weight I gained after pregnancy. You don't even have to wear any special underwear to "smooth" anything, it hides everything by itself due to perfect design and amazing fabric. It makes you look like a Greek goddess. Somebody mentioned that it is not good for the women with large size of breast, but I completely disagree with it. I had 40DD size and it actually holds you breast in place (you just need to find the right bra). I was in the store today to buy another dress of this style in different size and I was told by consultant that it might be discontinued (she couldn't order it for me any more). I am very disappointed if it is true. And if it is true on behalf of all women who liked the dress and those who (I am sure) will love it if they buy it, I would ask David's Bridal management to reconsider their decision and continue to manufacture this style. I planned to buy this dress in different colors. Thank you. Sincerely, a true fan of the Dress Style F12688.

Love this dress!
I am inlove with this dress and it is VERY inexspensive. All my Bridesmaids love it too. Also it is very practicle because this is a dress that can be worn more than just to a wedding :)
