it's so "me"!
i had gone into David's Bridal in late December to try on dresses for the very first time and i was quite nervous/anxious. as a woman in her early 30's with very simple taste and no sparkle/sequin bridal gene to speak of, i didn't think there were very many tasteful options out there for a 'plus size' bride (i'm 5'11" tall, and wear a size 14).
after trying on several that i sort of liked - all that were very heavy and felt like a LOT of dress to me with layers of fabrics and crinolin and structure - the consultant put me in this one and it just felt right. my sisters and bridesmaids said it perfectly - "it's so YOU!!" the dress is light and airy, fits perfectly, accentuates by body in all the right places, and will be beautiful for an outdoor June wedding! the length is even good for me without having to add any expensive extra length.
after sleeping on it for a couple of weeks (and daydreaming about this dress all the while) i went back and bought it on January 8th - i'm beyond thrilled!!

Consultant's Choice
I went to look at wedding dresses with a friend and had an idea of what I wanted to try on. We picked 4 dresses...I was on the 3rd when the consultant picked this dress out to see a different style. This is not a style I would of picked for myself...halter. BUT it is FANTASTIC on!!! Very flattering...and I bought it in Ivory...it flows so nicely. Great help from the consultant!!! It is something that does not have much hanger appeal...but looks terrific on the body!!!

Beautiful!
This dress is just gorgeous, I have it in ivory. You really need to TRY IT ON!!! I never would have picked it off the rack, but my consultant picked it out and as soon as it was on me I knew it was the one. Because of the light weight of the fabric it hangs shapelessly and doesn't look like much on the hanger. But once there is a person inside of it, it drapes beautifully. :-) Great price too. Can't wait to wear it at my wedding!!!
