Style VW360017
![]() This item is available in stores and online.*
Draped satin short dress with black grosgrain sash (not shown) and exposed zipper.
A waist accent made from woven material that is flexible, yet has structure that allows it to create beautiful, voluminous bows. The term horsehair refers to a braided fabric used in couture dress hems to add body or structure. Our horsehair sash is designed with a finer filament for a smooth look and feel. An uneven design element that creates interest; it may be gathering of fabric on one side, an uneven hem or a one-shoulder strap. A smooth fabric often used in bridal gown design because of its exquisite drape. |

Perfect :)
My wedding dress is by Vera Wang, and my colors are soft pink and black. I already had my bridesmaid dresses picked (although I wasn't entirely satisfied) and then one of my bridesmaids literally stumbled across these while we were in the store and it couldn't have fit better! I can't wait to see my bridal party in these dresses with black birdcage veils :)

Finally!!!
I couldn't decide on a color scheme for the life of me. So I knew the VW collection had limited colors so thats where we started and what we decided on. My smallest bm is a 6 and my MOH is a 24 and they look very flattering on them.

The "Traveling Pants" of Dresses
I recently took a few of my bridesmaids to pick out their dresses. I wanted them to find a dress that they loved and would wear again. I hate spending money on ugly bridesmaid dresses that will hang in your closet after that one day, and I didn't want them to feel that way about the dress for my wedding. I also have girls with many different figures and skin tones. I was playing with the idea of doing different dresses so that everyone would feel good in what they wore, until we found this dress. It is like the "Traveling Pants" of dresses. It's beautiful on my size 00 cousin who is straight as a board, as well as my curvy size 12 friend with a DD cup size. The top comes up enough to where no one is going to feel like they will fall out. My snow white friend looks great in the color as well. I wanted light green, but this moss color was prettier than I imagined. I changed my whole color scheme for this dress, and couldn't be more excited! My bridesmaids are excited too, they didn't break the bank and they have a dress to wear again. And don't be scared, it comes with a regular sash, not the bow that is in the picture. Though I did try my hardest, with no success, to convince them wear the bow instead. But the sash adds just the right break to the color, and accents their waists perfectly. My only caution is it does run a bit bigger than most bridesmaids dresses so be sure your girls try it on before ordering their size.
