love this dress I loved this dress. It has the lace and beading I was looking for. I did have the halter removed and lace cap sleeves added. The halter was beautiful, but I don't like things on my neck. It was beautiful. I felt like a princess. January 27, 2012
This dress was the one! I just got married last month, December 18, 2011. I started looking for dresses early last year. My sister in law, Jen my Matron of Honor saw this dress online and she knew that this was going to be my dress. I looked at a bunch of dresses, some really nice and also twice the price of the this. When I first went to David Bridal My consultant couldn't find this dress. When I went back with Jen we looked on the racks ourselves and she found it. After I tried on three dresses I tried on this dress and I knew it was the one. This dress is absolutely stunning with the halter, pearl beading and the lace cut out hem! I also got the same tiara as in the picture with the dress. I also wore a Long Sleeve Lace Jacket (David bridal Style - LSLACE) over my dress in church and a Faux Fur Capelet (David Bridal item- WC603140) over my dress when I went outside in the cold (it was a cold day). I used the bustle that DB alterations department recommended for this dress which was a combination of an under and an over bustle. Only one tiny flaw about this dress is that the beading does fall off but not too many. I am having my dress preserved by DB and I am having the loose beads repaired. I see a lot of girls taking the halter straps off and I am glad I didn't take them off. Plus the good thing about having straps is you don't have to keep lifting up your dress up! January 18, 2012
My Dream Dress This dress was one of three I tried on. I love the way it fits on me. I am 5 feet, but I opted to keep the regular size dress instead of petite so I can keep the way it was fitting in the torso. I went with an over-bustle and made it a sweetheart neckline. It is gorgeous! I put the picture of the dress before alterations because otherwise you won't see the bottom lace detail. January 17, 2012
Timeless Elegance I kept hearing from everyone how timeless the dress was. Funny thing, I had no idea what I was looking for when I went shopping. After I found the dress I looked at the photographs on line of people who were built like me. I decided to keep the halter as it seemed to draw the eye up to the face and who doesn't want to see the bride's face. I also noticed that the pictures in black and white really show the detail, so one of mine is in black and white. Can't say enough about the dress. I loved it, it was the second one I tried on, but I knew it was for me. Everyone around me seemed to think so also. Alterations included fitting the top, hemming the bottom and constructing a french bustle, all of which were done very well. I felt beautiful and was glad I waited til I had wedding photos to post. All brides look beautiful at their weddings. January 6, 2012
