don't buy unless you want your feet tortured I have worn a lot of heels. A lot of very high heels. And these take the cake. They are AWFUL. They don't feel too bad when trying them on, but trust me when I saw that these are the most miserable shoes your feet will ever be stuck in if you purchase these. I'm guessing that most of the 5 star reviews are coming from brides who didn't have to torture themselves in these shoes. I was just in a wedding where all the bridesmaids wore these and every one of us had our shoes off by the end of the ceremony because they were agonizing. (And in case you're wondering, several of the girls were very tiny girls, so not lots of weight on their feet!) I had to send my husband to get a pair of flats for me for the reception because I just couldn't bear it. It was such a struggle to even walk into the reception in these for the bridal party to be announced because my feet hurt so terribly. I have never had my feet hurt worse. Do not buy these. This review asks if you'd recommend to a friend? No. I wouldn't even recommend to an enemy! Terrible!!!!! The platform is very stiff and we all had problems w/the shoes flipping off our heels, even w/inserts and heel pads. I had blisters on top of and on the bottoms of my feet. I wish I could rate them a 0. One of the girls even left them under the table at the reception because she said they belonged in the trash anyway. November 21, 2011
HORRIBLE i hate these shoes i tried on a 7.5 in store and they were perfect but when i went to pick them up they were so big i couldnt walk in them. i took them back and tried on a 6,6.5, and 7 and decided the 7 would do as long as i got a cushion for the heel. i picked up the 7 and put them on as soon as i got home. i could barelt get my feet in them. i tried stretching them but nothing worked. i figured a 7w would be tolerable but the stores cant order wides until next year. ive never been so irratated with a pair of shoes before. now with only 2 months till the wedding i have to take them back and exchange for 7.5 and then pay for cushions. i wish we couldve read the reviews before buying these aweful things. MY FAVORITE PAIR OF HEELS! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE SHOES! When I was deciding on colors, I knew I wanted red as my accent colors. I saw these shoes as I was trying on dresses last year for my wedding. I instantly fell in love with them and told my bridal party (the gals) that I wanted them to wear red shoes (these in particular if they wanted to get them). I received sooooooooooo many compliments at my wedding, and even as I wear them today! They do hurt a little bit (but all heels seem to hurt my feet), but not quite so much with the platform. I want to buy a couple more pairs in different colors! They are my ultimate fashion accessory! :D November 14, 2011
so cute!! I went to Davids yesturday to try on bridal gowns and the consultant brought these shoes for me try try on with the gowns. They were apple red, which is the shoe color I plan to wear, and they were so comfortable and gorgous. They are cut a little small at the toe so you may have to go up a half size, but they are worth the buy. November 13, 2011
