Understated Elegance
Wonderful look and feel to this dress, and it will be perfect for my beach wedding in October. I wanted a short dress because of the ceremony location and type (intimate - will be just the groom and I), and because I'm short (5'2"). The dress comes to just below my knee, which I really like, but one could always have it hemmed if so desired. Additionally, I'm a bit on the pear shaped side so if you're not a stick figure, wearing a pair of Spanx underneath completes a smooth silhouette. And finally, despite the description saying this dress is only available online, I tried it on and bought it in the store, so if you have a DB in your area, it's worth giving them a call to see if they have one in store, as it really is worth your time to go and have a look at it and try it on in person. It was the second dress I tried on and once I did, that was it for me!

SO EXCITED!!!
I purchased this as my 4th and final dress-no I will not be wearing the others, I Just ended up not liking any after I got them home:(-I wanted a short dress from the beginning, but always tried on the long ones and fell in love, but eventually felt they were just too much for our fun, quirky, casual wedding this October!! I tried this dress on, after I got it home with my jewelry and veil, and no one else has seen it, and I am so pumped!!! It is perfect!! It's got a 1940's feel to it as well, and I wanted vintage in the mix!!:) I actually got to try this on at the store, I bought it in a size smaller than I was fitting into with the longer gowns, and it's the perfect fit!! OH I just can't wait to wear it!! I hope the weather cooperates for our outside October wedding in the Northwoods of Wisconsin!!!:)
