The Perfect Gown
I never thought I'd wear a mermaid style gown for my wedding...but here I am! I have an hourglass figure already with a little extra in the tummy area, so I was looking for an A line gown to downplay the tummy flub and big hips. My consultant, however, knew better and started bringing me fit and flares. They looked awesome! I liked one in a similar style, but the fabric was almost like a comforter. My consultant, who was so amazing, ran down to find this dress, which was being repaired for a broken zipper, and clipped me into it. I came out of the dressing room and just felt like a bride. My mom cried, I cried, everyone around us just stopped and looked. That's when I knew I needed this dress. The trial size was a 12, which I could squeeze into, but I ordered a 14 - fits me like it was made for me. No alterations necessary. The fabric hides any tummy flub and gives me rocking curves. I love that there is very little detail on this dress, just the fun bow and little beading under the bust. It makes me the center of attention, not the dress. I'm pairing it with shoes that I also got from David's Bridal in Horizon blue with little bows on it to match! I cannot wait to wear it this May!

Beautiful!
Thank you SOO much Carol for helping me find the wedding dress of my dreams! I wasnt sure about this dress while it was on the hanger, but as soon as i tried it on, i knew for sure it was THE ONE! Styled to Perfection
I bought this dress after many exhausting trips to different bridal salons in several states. I fell in love with a designer gown 3 times my budget and had to find a compromise. This was it! It had the silhouette I wanted, but no bling. I removed the bow and the beaded detail from the bodice and added some dazzling rhinestone appliques in their place. I also modified the skirt a little since it was too full for me and the dress was perfect! With a little creativity it looked better than the dress three times the cost!
