MY DRESS!!!
OMG. My story is so wierd. I tried on this dress the first time around and hated it. I bought the one with the two openings in the back that day and was in love with that one.
Then I realized I wanted more of a mermaid style. So when I was taking back my other dress to David's Bridal. I saw a girl trying this one on. I liked it on her but remembered how much I didn't like it on me when I put it on. I tried on a different dress that day and ordered a random one (still was unsure but felt like I needed to decide#. Before that one could even get it. I called David's Bridal and cancelled it. I then went down and tried this one on and fell IN LOVE. More in love than my fiance #lol jk) ok anyway. I ordered it and it came in super quick. I love this dress. I am getting a few alterations done, like getting the bow taken off and some more jewels on top, but other than that I am very happy. * July 21, 2012 *

THE ONE
When this dress arrived at the store...I had already purchased a dress. I had a satin trumpit gown that was also beautiful...however once I saw this dress I felt like mine was missing something. I went into Davids Bridal and looked at and starred at it. Finally a bridal consultant said you can try it on, maybe you will feel like this is the one or you may find that you made the right choice. I put it on and thought wow! My heart was pounding. But I couldnt purchase it, and tried to tell myself I had the right gown. But no this was it. So I took a plunge and bought it days later. I know I made the right call. This gown is amazing, it hugs your curves just right. I added a lace up corsett back and a 9 point bustle at Davids Bridal alterations. And the lace up back made all the difference. It really gives me the hour glass figure. The bustle looks awesome the way it flows with the dress. I can not wait to wear this at my wedding! I know my fiance will love it, I can not wait to see his face when I walk in rocking this satin fit and flare!

Amazing dress<3
I always thought i wanted a huge dress but my consultant brought this one out and i didnt think i liked it.. but i tried it on and i felt amazing. i wanted to feel and look beautiful, sexy, and i wanted my features i didnt like so much to not show. and this dress hid my "love handles" and my stomach looked super flat and it made me feel amazing. i felt gorgeous in this dress. I couldnt be happier with any other dress. im short and petite and i didnt think i could look like i had the perfect body but in this dress i do:) <3

COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT I HAD THOUGHT I WANTED!!
Okay, so for the longest time I had always envisioned myself in a ball gown or a-line type dress. I wanted my dress to be ivory to compliment my skin tone, and I wanted it to be classy yet simple, yet unique and different. I tried on various ball gown and a-line style dresses that I thought were beautiful, but i felt as though something was missing. My friend told me that since I am a tad bit on the short side, being 5'3, that poofy dresses made me look shorter... soooo my coordinator at DB's suggested that I try on a mermaid style dress because i am curvy and I have hips!! Hesitantly, I agreed. I thought, "what could I lose by trying it on?" So, she brought this dress for me and instantly when I put it on I could not stop smiling in it!! I felt so comfortable, sexy, and elegant. The color and fabric is perfect. It is not too beady, either. I felt "the moment" when I tried it on. I could envision myself walking down the aisle to the man of my dreams in this dress.
Although it was COMPLETELY opposite of what I wanted and had envisioned walking down the aisle in.. I am so glad I purchased this gown. Its breathtakingly stunning and I would definitely recommend this dress to any woman a bit short that has some curves!!
