Felt Like a Princess
We just got married on a cruise ship and it was absolutely perfect. As I walked around the ship in my dress all of the little kids kept saying "pretty" and "princess". Random people stopped to have their photo made with me and a group of about 100 fellow cruisers cheered and whistled for us as we walked by.
I decided initially that I would find a dress at David's Bridal because I did not want to go over-budget on the dress and wanted to spend more money on the ceremony and reception onboard. I tried on about 10 dresses one night and this was no-question my favorite. It made me feel so slender and I hadn't thought I would want such a long train, but once I saw it spread out I was in love. I ordered the dress that same night. Initially the associate told me it may not come in until 2-3 weeks before my wedding, but to my surprise it was in the store 7 days later. This created a minor problem as I then had to pick it up and take it to our house to keep in a garment bag for 4 months...
Needless to say when I went in for my alterations it was a giant wrinkled mess, but they were able to press it. I initially tried on a 6 in the store which fit well, but they suggested I order an 8 and have it altered, which I did. The alterations cost almost $500...this dress is very, very long and has many layers.
I traveled with the dress on an airplane from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale and thought it would surely get wrinkled again, but it actually held up pretty well.
I felt so beautiful in this dress and wished I didn't have to take it off. I keep trying to think of a reason to put it back on...even if it is just to walk around the house :)
This dress is a definite must try when you are out shopping!!

timeless
This dress is not done justice by photographs. it really is gorgeous in person. the fabric is so light and airy and it is a very flattering fit. I tried this dress on with the A-line slip and the ball gown slip and it is beautiful with both. I decided to forgo the black horsehair bow and opted for a sash with a brooch in its place. I also like the option to wear the jacket for sleeves, but the dress is beautiful without it. if you are looking for a timeless, classic, and elegant wedding dress, you should definitely try this on!

The first and the last
This is the first dress I tried on when I went to David's Bridal. It's the one my mom really loved, originally with the lace underlay thing. My wedding date isn't for another four months but I just got this dress. I'm actually going to wear it without the lace top. It's quite itchy and uncomfortable and the dress is absolutely gorgeous without it. It's an a-line that doesn't have too much poof to it which I love. I feel amazing in this dress and can't wait to where it! I highly recommend it! It fits me like a glove. I always thought I wouldn't like a strapless dress, being afraid it would fall off of me but this one stays very well and the detail of it is just beautiful. It's real ivory and with the simple embroidered detail, it's perfect!
