Mom knows best
I had already picked out a dress and was satisfied with the selection. But my mom saw this dress on the mannequin when she walked into the store and wanted me to try it on. So after I tried on the dresses that I picked out, I appeased my mom by trying this dress on. Like all the other reviews, the dress was not at all impressive on the mannequin. But the moment the dress was slipped on and zipped, I looked down and knew this was it. I felt like a bride for the very first time. Then the consultant came by with an elbow length veil and Vera flower bow and I couldn't stop beaming. I'm usually a size 6, but i was measured as a size 12! I tried on a 10 at first, but thought it was too loose, so I finally settled for an 8. It was a risk, as this is a VERY FITTED dress. It's also zippered back, so there is no room to gain weight. My wedding is in September so I'm spending the next 3 months on a diet. But, it's going to be all worth it when my fiance sees it for the first time!

I bought another dress prior to the Vera collection coming out, I thought it was the one until I saw this dress and I just had to try it on. I was so torn, I brought my fiance to see both dress' he said the first was a 91/2 but this one was an 11 and out of this world... It is absolutly amazing dress for the money! August 12,2011... Kennebunkport here I come!!

This dress, is exactly what I was looking for in a dress. I knew right away when I saw it that it was the one for me. I have a very shapely silhouette, and I wanted to show off the curves of my hips / chest. This dress hugs every inch down to the taper where it bows out like into a cascade of amazing layers. I was even more happy when I found out it was a Vera Wang! Simply perfect!!!! We are getting married in a castle, and this dress is for sure to make me feel like a Queen!

Love at first sight....
I fell in love with this dress from the very first time that I tried it on. It fits like a glove and looked amazing on. My only wish is that it came in white. The venue that I chose has a solid white gazebo that contrasts with the Ivory dress. I am still debating on how much that matters since this dress is absolutely perfect!
