Lovely Dress
Oh v9263, how much I love thee? Let me count the ways:
1. Love the organza pick-up skirt! I didn't intend to be a "princess" at my wedding with over-the-top pick-ups, but I also wanted sufficient details to the skirt because it would be a big part of me in full-body portraits. This organza pick-up is just light enough so the pattern is not too regular to be boring, and yet the lace and the spread-out embellishment offer much detail for even the faraway camera.
2. Loved the beaded corset! I had not envisioned myself in a corset until I put this dress on. It is figure-flattering and the embellishment offers much for close-up shots.
3. Love the short train! I know this may be altered according to one's personal preferences, but I loved that it wasn't too long that it'd be troublesome to walk around (and turn) in -- especially given that I'm a very clumsy person -- yet long enough to be elegant.
4. Love the lace-up back! Again, I had gone to DB looking for a zipper back but the fact that this dress offers both means it's the best of both worlds: lace-up back offers the visual as well as leeway for last-minute minor figure changes, while zipper aids with putting it on.
5. Love the neckline! It's a good compromise between something too revealing (some halters, sweetheart, etc.) and something very boring (straight across).
6. Love the price! Totally within my budget for the quality it provides.
I'm not an impulsive type of gal and though I bought this dress 15 months prior to my wedding and have since been keeping an eye on other dresses (just for curiosity), I haven't yet found any that beats the combination of the above qualities! :) Can't wait to walk down the aisle in it on 5/26/2012 <3

OMG!!!! What a dress!!!!
Before going to David's Bridal, I had gone to 3 other bridal shops. I probably tried on about 15 dresses before going to David's Bridal. This was the 4th dress I tried on at David's Bridal, and I didn't want to take it off. I was blessed to have my mother, grandmother, and my maid of honor there with me. Apparently they took about 40 pictures with my mouth open because I was in heaven. My wedding isn't until May 5th (cinco de mayo) yay!!!! But I am so looking forward to it.

Stunning Dress
This was the first dress that I tried on. I absolutely fell in love with it and had to have it. I got so many compliments on it. I loved that it was on the more affordable side. I also loved how light it was. I tried on other dresses and they were very heavy and I am all about the comfort factor for sure! After the wedding my husband and I did a trash the dress photo shoot and the pics turned out AMAZING!!!

Gorgeous Dress, Great Price!
I visited three bridal shops before this dress was brought to me. I didn't even want to try it on because of the appliques on the skirt, but once I did they just faded into the background.
The bodice has beautiful beading but it's not over the top. The corset styling allows you to zip it up, then lace up the back for the perfect fit. And once it's on, it won't go anywhere (unlike the other strapless dresses I tried on)! The skirt has just enough pouf for a nice a-line shape that won't overwhelm a small frame. More pouf can be added underneath if you're into the ballgown look. The pickups give it a light, airy feel and the appliques add some sparkle. It has a small train that floats behind you, but doesn't drag. The whole dress doesn't weigh you down, so you can dance all night!
For the amount of detail on this dress, it looks much more expensive than it is, comparable to some at least twice the price...
Just a small warning though: I ordered it in ivory initially but it was barely a shade off white! It wasn't quite white but it wasn't quite a true ivory. This made finding a veil very difficult. Eventually I took it back and got the white version instead and was immediately able to find a chapel length veil to match.
The look is a little bit princess, a lot of romance! I asked my niece/flower girl which princess was her favorite (expecting a Disney answer), but she pointed at me! Have to say, that was the icing on the cake!
