My dream dress
I went into David's with the idea that I didn't want a frilly, princess-style dress. I didn't want anything "poofy" or ballgown-ish. I wanted something simple and lacey. So how did I end up with a princess-style ballgown? :) It was the only one of its type I tried on, for the heck of it, and as I tried it on in the dressing room, I actually said to my MOH who was with me that it was just "too much" and I couldn't move well in it, and that unless I looked spectacular, I wasn't getting it. Well, I stepped out and as soon as I saw myself in the mirror, I couldn't stop smiling. And suddenly it didn't feel too heavy. It was maybe the 6th or 7th I tried on, but it was the last, because when you find your dress, you just know it. It's a perfect dress! Emphasizes where it needs to, and sucks in where you want it to :)

Perfect Dress for Me!
I went to David's Bridal to shop for my dress and felt a bit silly. I'm 40 years old, so not a "young" bride. One of the other dresses I tried on looked nice and was very pretty. Then I tried on this dress, and it was perfect! It was everything I ever dreamed of for my wedding dress. I spent a fair amount of time deciding between the two, but I felt 40 in the other dress, and I felt like a princess in this one! Apparently I made the right choice as everyone LOVED the dress on my wedding day.

Perfect
I fell in love with this dress the moment I put it on. It is exactly what I pictured my wedding dress to look like. I really do feel like a princess when I have it on. I'm going to make regular visits to the future in-law's house just to look at it and maybe try it on a few times. It is perfect for me.
