Couldn't be happier
I fell in love an acquaintance's wedding dress looking at her pictures, and I knew I wanted that dress. It was Watters Escalante. It is A-line, with a taffeta full skirt, and lace bodice. I went to try it on at a bridal boutique. I didn't completely love the plunging V-neck or the price...the tag said $4000. I was so in love with the dress I actually considered spending that much. Once I got home, common sense came around and told me it was crazy to spend that much on a dress that I would only wear once. So I started thinking about how I could recreate the look for less. I looked into ordering a replica from Asia, but that seemed too risky. I read a blog about another girl who had a replica made by a seamstress locally. It still costed her $1500. I was brainstorming with my sisters and we suddenly had the bright idea to buy a simple A-line strapless dress and add a lace overlay to the top. I found this dress and liked the shape. All the reviews were pretty good, so I went for it. It arrived 5 days after I ordered it, I chose the size based on the chart and it fits perfectly. It is a bit long since I am short, but I see that as a perk because I wanted a train. I'll have it hemmed on a bias to leave a sweep train in the back. I took the flower off and will wear a petticoat to fill it out, but overall, I think it is going to look absolutely fabulous once we add the lace. I am so so happy!! The one pic is me in the dress, the other shows how we are experimenting with panels of lace, this one is from an old curtain. We're trying to come up with a pattern to use to make it easier for a seamstress. If I can't get it done for a reasonable price by a seamstress, I am going to ask my sister-in-law to do it, since she has a decent amount of sewing experience. I can't wait to see how it turns out!!!

LOVE IT!!
I am getting married October 27th and thought that finding a dress would be the most stressful part of planning my wedding but i got lucky and it was one of the easiest. I found this dress online and fell in love both with the dress itself as well as the price. i was very nervous and had heard horror stories of people ordering their dresses online but decided to take a chance and order it anyways and it payed off! i am beyond pleased with my dress it is gorgeous. its very light weight and comfortable but doesnt look cheap at all. i would recommend this dress to anyone!

Lake Wedding
I am 5'5" and weight about 130 I ordered a size 6 which is just a hair to big and is to long but I am wearing flats. I tried on a look alike of this dress at another wedding dress shop and that one was $1,400 and I loved it! I had my eye on this one though and ordered it (knowing I could return it if I didnt like it) and it is perfect I love it!

Great Value
I originally tried another dress on in the store, I loved it but really wanted to spend LESS money than what the dress cost. This dress was $300 less than the one I loved, same sweetheart neckline, ruched waste line, pockets, A-Line. The only differences are that the skirt is less full, and the material was satin instead of taffeta.
I am pleased and excited about this purchase! I am doing to buy a slip to make the skirt more full and a full length bra to slim down my midsection because the tightness of the top rests right on my hips and is not as comfortable as I would have liked, but those are easy fixes. I would say that this dress is a great value and allowed me to have the look I wanted without spending 500 dollars.
