Breath Taking
I had been looking forever for my perfect dress when I found this one. It was love at first click. I called and made an appointment to try it on. I was so nervous because I hadn't had a backup dress in mind. When I got there, the sales woman asked if I wanted to look around, which I did but only to keep staring at the dress on the model when you first walked in. It was this dress..my dress. I tried it on praying first of all that it would fit. I'm a size 12/14 fyi. It fit like a glove and when I saw myself in the mirror, I knew it was the dress I would walk down the isle in.

Beautiful!
This is a gorgeous gown! Maybe not for every single body type, just because it is very form fitting but it is so lovely, esp in the Blush. I was able to buy mine in size zero and it fits like a glove, absolutely no alterations needed, so while it was a little pricey, I certainly saved on alterations fees. It is a beautiful dress!

Blushing Bride
I went into Davids Bridal back in March and tried on this dress in the ivory and was on the fence about it. It was hard to really tell since it wasn't in my size. A few weeks later i went to another bridal store and purchased Davinci 52007 which is basically a cheaper replica of the WbVW dress. For about 2 months i thought about my purchase and came to the conclusion that what i really wanted was the WbVW gown. I went to my local DB this past weekend and tried the dress back on in the Ivory. I knew it was the dress. I was up at the counter about to pay when the consultant suggested i try on the size i was ordering. However, the size i was ordering was only available to try on in the blush. She put the blush gown on me and i stepped out of the dressing room and was amazed. The gown is so much more beautiful in the blush. I had to wrestle with myself asking if a blush gown would be too much. I finally come to the conclusion it was my dress and my wedding and i needed to go big or go home. I didn't purchase the black sash as shown, i will probably go with a taupe or robins egg color. I'm keeping the dress color a surprise and i cant wait to wear it for my wedding and see everyones reaction!
I'd tell anyone on the fence about the color choice to go for it! Dont worry about "tradition" or shocking people, as long as your happy and feel good, thats all that matters.

Plus Size
A Curvy Girl in VERA WANG?! It took me 3 trips to DB to find this dress. I am a size 16 and I was a little worried how I would look in it. I have been IN LOVE with this dress since Feb. To my surprise it works! When I walked out of the dressing room I looked at my MOH's face and knew it was my dress. I am not sure if I am going to do the sash or not. I think the dress is a piece of art on its own. I like the way the dress moves when I walk. It looks heavy but its very easy to carry and pick up. I can't wait to wear it in MAY!!
