This dress is nothing like I thought my dress would be. I thought I would be going for a more fitted trumpet style gown. But once my consultant saw that my bridesmaid dresses were one-shoulder she thought that it would be a good fit. I was skeptical, but as soon as I tried it one I loved it! And the tears from my entourage was the icing on the cake! I know I will feel beautiful all day in this dress!

Vintage Glamorous 1940's movie Princess
I tried on probably 10 gowns and narrowed it down to 3. I had tried this dress on after another Oleg Cassini dress that was everyone's favorite. When my mom saw me in this dress the look on her face and the look on my future mother-in-law's face said this is the one. When I saw myself, I couldn't believe it was me. I felt like a movie star from the 1940's, getting married in an old black & white movie. It has such a vintage glamorous look to it. Everything about this dress screams I am the beautiful bride and I know all eyes will be on me.
I can't believe that I am reading that some people have actually taken the one shoulder off! So crazy because that one shoulder catches the eye and adorns the neck area with such delicate detail!!
On my wedding day, I will look and feel like Grace Kelly. I cannot wait for my groom to see me coming down the aisle in this elegant dress.

My Beautiful Wedding Dress
My wedding was this past Saturday (3.23.3013). I received so many complements on how beautiful the gown was. People thought it was much more expensive than it actually was. When I was dress shopping I would have never picked this as my dress, however, it was one of my mom's faves so I gave it a chance. I knew it was my dress as soon as I tried it on. Do not pass this dress up!

Perfect
I wore this dress on September 8, 2012 for an outdoor wedding. It was pretty hot outside so the layers of tulle did make me a little hot. The skirt is a bit heavy and the shoulder strap can be a bit itchy. The dress fit perfectly. It really makes your waist look tiny and boobs look good :) Everyone loved the dress and I am so glad that I chose it.
