Princess!
I never had a wedding dress so my husband of 15 years decided that it was time we renewed our vows in a church and have a full blown reception. I have never tried on a wedding gown before. I was scared to death that I wouldn't find a dress because I'm a plus size bride. I figured it would take 300 stores, 1,000 of try ons. So I started with David's Bridal. I heard bad things about them, but I didn't experience that. This was the second gown I tried on and instantly fell inlove with it. I had a bigger budget than most but for under 1,000.00 this dress has everything to make you feel like a princess even if you've been a housewife for most of your life. I didn't recommend the dress for a friend because I wouldn't want to see someone else in it before my day. :) Thank You David's Bridal for making me feel like a first time bride even when I'm very far from it.

Surprise Dress
I went dress shopping with my mother and sister. We all had the idea that I would get something modern, simple, and sophisticated. After trying on several dresses in the style I thought I wanted, I found myself liking all of them and loving none. My sister and I went outside to take a break and look through the catalogue, and this dress hit me so suddenly. I had to try it on! They didn't have my size (2) in stock, so they put me in a 4. Even having to imagine my way past the clips on the back of the dress, I knew I had found it. I waited about a week, went back and tried it on again, and loved it even more. I couldn't be happier! All of the details are perfect. The lace falls down the train in the most stunning way, and the one shoulder can easily be tucked or removed for a strapless look. Absolutely gorgeous. Always give yourself a little time before jumping on a dress! Be sure it's the one, and don't be afraid to try it on several times. I could have ended up with a so-so dress :)

Finally I found the gown!
To be honest with you, I had purchased another gown at DB before I found this one on the website... But at the time I bought the first dress, I was under so much pressure to find a dress, so just bought that dress that I thought was "okay" without being extremely in love. And a few weeks later I found this dress online and was struck by it. I still remember that my heart was pounding just looking at the pictures of this dress. And then I got this feeling that "I MUST try this on anyway" so I drove to the nearest DB the following day being uncertain whether it would be possible to exchange my first dress for this one or not. If not, the things were about to be extremely complicated. And guess what... I instantly fell in love with this dress. This was it!!! This made me feel totally like a bride. Yes, it is a ball gown, but not cheesy at all. It is such an elegant piece and flatters your body amazingly. I actually love the one-shoulder strap, but even more love the fact that I can always tuck it into the bodice whenever I want so it looks like a strapless gown. I'm planning on adding a crinoline slip underneath the skirt, but it is gorgeous by itself too. And yes, they were willing to exchange my first dress for this one, saying "of course, we want you to go home feeling extremely happy. That's all we want." Davids Bridal, I am totally impressed by your great service. Thank you so much.
