I found that the dress ran small. I am 5'9 and a pretty standard size 8 dress and was even measured in a david's bridal boutique before I placed the order. The picture nor the descriptions mentions the fact that the dress is actually more of a mermaid fit. Depending on how you look at it, I was either blessed or cursed with wider hips and a smaller waist, so a size 8 was too snug and had to order a size up. I am happy with the way the dress fits now, but it's inconvenient to return this dress as it is an online order only! The neckline is beautiful, however. I would recommend the dress, but beware that the fit is tight through the middle!

Size runs small, but pretty!
Good with exceptions.....
I'm writing this review to alert customers that this dress runs small so that you can save money on those return shipping fees. I ordered a size 6, and the dress turned out to be more like a size 4. I couldn't even close the zipper. And I had tried on a variety of dresses in the store that were size 6 and they fit fine.
On to the dress itself. The lapis color is pretty and quality looks good. What the description doesn't tell you is that the skirt is styled like a mermaid/fit and flare.
