Very flattering
I am 5'10 and a size 12-14. I am going to a gala wedding and needed floor length. I bought the black/ white option. This was by far the most flattering dress I tried on. Here is why it fits nicely on 95% of people:
- A- line doesnt cling to lumps and bumps
- Satin material doesnt show lumps and bumps- VERY forgiving
- ruching is extremely flattering and anyone that does not have a perfect figure can benefit from it!
- The strap- it holds up the girls!- so you get the benefit/ elegance of a near-strapless gown, but it doesnt fall down on you
- boning helps everything stay in place- and ps- the boning is not bad/ uncomfortable either
The photo on line does not do this justice nor does it look over the top fab on the hanger- BUT ON???- Amazing & flattering.
TIP: the fan thingy- I am putting a silk flower or rhinestone broach- looks elegant and adds interest
I read a review about someone with a small cup size not so happy- I can see that the ruching might overwhelm a very petite and small busted frame.
When I tried this on, random store customers came up to me to say how much they loved it!

Loved this dress
When my future daughter-in-law asked that I wear a long red dress for their October wedding I knew it would be a challenge. None of the "mother" dresses came in the true red color that the bride wanted. The sales girl at David's Bridal steered me towards the bridesmaid dresses. I wanted something that would be flattering, stylish but also appropriate for my role as the mother-of-the-groom. This dress perfectly fit the bill. I am 5'10" and the dress was the perfect length with my 2" heels. It was so comfortable and looked great and was hardly wrinkled after wearing it for 9 hours. The dress was beautifully made and I received so many compliments on it. Thank you David's Bridal for carrying this dress!

Modern, Appropriate, & Flattering
I chose this dress because I needed a dress that would not only flatter seven different shapes but satisfy both their modesty and fashion preferences, while being formal.
It was perfect.
The girls wore it in clover and they were stunning. We received so many compliments on "the beautiful bridesmaids" and it really helped in our wedding photos.
We had to do quite a bit of alteration for my MoH as she is onlly 5 ft tall, and as typical with DB dresses, the zippers were tough.
I had bridesmaids of various shapes and sizes, although they were all young, beautiful, and no one was above a size eight. (But from what I've seen of other reviews, it works for all sizes!)
I especially loved that it kept all cleavage hidden, as we were married in a church and wanted to keep it appropriate.
The girls looked beautiful! And, several of them hope to re-wear it again...senior recitals, air force balls, etc.
