Mix feelings
I saw this dress online and fell in love with the design. When I went to the store they only had it in White and ivory but I wanted a darker colour. I chose to take a gamble and pick the amethyst without seeing it instore and have it delivered right to my place. When dress arrived I must admit looks exactly what's on the site but my only pet hate which doesn't appear on the lighter colour dresses is there is a Shine/sheen to the dress due to the fabric. In the picture its more matte and on the white or softer lighter colours u can't tell but with the darker it appears .. I would assume navy and maybe grey would have the same issue and the shine causes concern. I find it makes look wider and with flash makes my dress look disco like and cheapens the dress. But I still love the dress as it's very flattering, I have wide shoulders and no hips, soothe fluffy bottom balances out my top half, with the belt it gives me more of a figure. Also did note varous details on dress is amazing, with the petal like finish on the bottom, pleats on the top to hug body better, invisable zip on the side and also boning on the bodice to give added structure. Did Great for Me!
I wore this dress for my Reception Dress and received great reviews! FASHION FORWARD! When I first read the reviews of David's Bridal 9/10 were negative. Take in consideration we all have different bodies so its not going to look the same! I step out on faith and order it online and got it 1 week before my wedding! I was so happy!!!! Check me out!!!!
