My Dress
I went in not expecting to buy a dress. The second she put this one on me, I fell in love. It is the perfect dress for my wedding because it is simple, elegant, and absolutely beautiful. perfect dress
I had this one on my favorites on the website, but didnt even print it out when i went in to try on dresses. the lady i worked with pulled it out of the blue and when i tried it on, I could not stop smiling! It was the perfect dress! I didnt think I would be happy with a dress without lace, but this was a perfect fit, adn the train is absolutely gorgeous; The whole dress was just so elegant and perfect for me after I had it on! Amazing!

This was not my dream dress
I had envisioned and TRIED on something totally different for my intimate, southern California vineyard wedding. As a 40 something, size 12/14 and second time bride, I really didn't want anything with too much embellishments, beading, white or unflattering to my body type. I was set on a lace, tea-length sheath gown for our morning wedding. BOY was that a mistake. After several weeks and being down to the wire for my Oct 16, 2011 wedding, my sister who is 3000 miles away send me this picture and tells me she thinks this is the dress for me. I went back to DB with MUCH trepidation and a sunken heart that I would never find my dream dress. When I got to DB after work it wasn't like the frenzy Saturday I went with young brides surrounded by their moms, grandmothers and bridal party. I went on Monday and I was the ONLY bride in the entire store. I showed the consultant the picture and she brought 4 dresses in this style. I tried this one on first and was blown away at how beautiful, elegant and simple it was. The fact that it was on sale added an extra bonus.
I didn't even try on the other 3....went and ordered it IVORY, paid for it and will be getting it the last week of September :)
The only fitting that it needs is the shoulders because this dress will fit any body like a glove and will take at least 10lbs off!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
