Gorgeous, Vintage dress! This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I am 5'9", and around a size 16. I have a large bust and ordered this dress in an 18W with extra length, if any curvier women are considering this gown. Being an Oleg Cassini, this gown is extremely well made, and better quality than the David's collection. I ordered the dress without trying it on #in store there was like a size 4 or 6# and have never regretted it! My wedding is art deco/vintage/gold and purple in a 1920's ballroom, so the style is a perfect fit, it had some sort of sleeve without being "modest", which I'm very glad about because most "modest" gowns are really very ugly. It's got enough sexy, but it's appropriate for everyone. Highly recommend! I also recommend the trumpet slip underneath, as it gives the bottom enough poof to really show off the design details of the bottom! I may update with photos after the wedding, as I'm trying to keep the dress as much under wraps as possible! November 11, 2013
The Dress! I absolutely love this dress! David's was the first store that I went to and this was the last dress that I tried on. I then went to two other bridal stores and nothing could compete. I was miserable at the other stores and I could not stop thinking about this dress. I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it. I had a thing for lace & buttons and the buttons that go all the way down the back sold me. November 4, 2013
Gorgeous Details! The picture (even the reviewer's pictures) do NOT do this dress justice! This dress is ridiculously pretty... The layers of lace, the train and buttons running down the back. It hugs your curves in all the right places but is still modest because of the lack of cleavage. Has a very vintage/romantic feel to it. It was a little pricey compared to a lot of the dresses I tried on, but the quality and beauty was far superior! PS, I HATE poufy dresses; this dress is not quite as full on the bottom as this picture shows. October 27, 2013
Absolutely Stunning!! I had given up on looking and ended up purchasing a dress over a year before my wedding, only to walk into David's a month before my wedding to find this beauty on a mannequin right in front of me. They only had one left in my perfect size only needing a hem and a bustle. It was meant to be! The dress can definitely be hemmed, but it is a much more difficult and involved hem than most dresses...totally worth it though! October 25, 2013
