Love at First sight
All I know is I'm in love with this dress. It is simple, sassy, and classy all at the same time. I love the vintage feel to it and it's unique design. The bow is absolutely gorgeous. The train is detachable, but you can't tell once it's connected. This gown is much prettier in person and true to it's size. I wear a 10 in street clothes and in this gown. I first tried it on in April and it was love at first sight. I did not want to try anything else on. Since then I have tried this gown on 2 more times including yesterday and after watching for it to go on sale since April, it finally did so I ran to buy it yesterday, but decided to try 4 other gowns on. I still loved this one, but my family loved and I liked the taffeta scoop neck rushed gown with tiring so I had it ordered. But it bothered me all night and all today that I did not buy my true love, so I went back to the store to exchange it and luckily for me they let me. Worst case scenario, I would have had 2 gowns. I just had to have this one!

Speechless
Love this dress.If you are looking for a dress that gives you the classic and still sexy look this is the dress for you. The beading on the dress is classical and it fits every curve on your body. I love the fact that the train looks like its sewn into the dress but it is removable. The fabric of the dress is very light. The picture on the web-sight do not do it justice. VERY GORGEOUS DRESS, LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

Gorgeous, Classy Dress!
As a 2nd time bride, I wanted a dress that was simple, elegant, and made me feel beautiful. I also didn't want a poofy, "Disney-Princess" dress that was more suitable for a younger bride, for I'm in my 40s. I found this dress and some others from the website and went to DB to try them on. Unfortunately, none of the dresses worked and this dress wasn't available in the store. Luckily I was out of town at the time visiting relatives in a large city, and the consultant found a store in the area that carried Melissa Sweet dresses and requested them to hold one for me in a size 10. I normally wear a size 2-4 in street clothes, but had to try on wedding dresses in a size 10 due to my bust size. When I went to the other DB store, the size 10 was like a tent on me! The consultant said that they had one more dress in the store in this style, but it was a size 4. It was brought out and it fit me like a glove! I was amazed that I could fit in a size 4 wedding dress, since I was trying on others in sizes 8-10. This dress was everything I wanted, and I felt so beautiful in it! The lines are beautiful, and I am wearing it without the train, for I love the obi style detail in the back. I can't wait for my husband-to-be to see me in this dress! Be patient for the Melissa Sweet collection to hit the stores nearest you, for it needs to be tried on in person. It needs to be tried on in your regular clothing size, for this dress is true to your size. If I had ordered it online, I would have gone with an 8 or 10, and would have been discouraged and sent it back. This is definitely a dress that is versatile and would work for a 20 year old bride as well as a more mature bride of 41! ;) I just love it and feel so elegant and beautiful in it!

Stunning
I wanted something classic but different from every other dress out there and I found it. This dress is elegent, stunning and timeless. The fabric is sumptuous and the long, simple lines create straight up glamour. The peplum on the back looks much nicer on than in these pictures, although I am having one of my girlfriends make different flowers for it. This is a very well made gown and the lilac beading lends well to the theme of my winter wedding at a grand inn in the mountains. We're having a smaller wedding that will feel more like a formal dinner and cocktail party than a reception after the ceremony so this dress is perfect! We are going vintage glam for the invitations, cake, flowers and this dress is right in step with that.
