Fantastic Gown
I ordered another dress for a formal wedding. When I tried it on it was way to short. I am 5'9", so the wonderful Salesperson Maryann at the Sunrise store started pulling dresses for me. After trying several, none of which were long enough they gave me this one to try. All I can say is I SAID YES TO THE DRESS. I am not a tall slim model type. This dress still look fantastic on and made me feel fantastic. When I select my shoes I will still need to hem it. So what when you are tall that is not usually what the problem is.

great dress for a svelte body

the overall fit was snug, but looked amazing. I had to work to get the lining over my hips, but once I did, everything fell into place.
Does not come with the big black flower, thank goodness...but comes with the black waist ribbon.
I'm giving this a 4 our of 5 because the material seemed fairly cheap, and unless you're as tall as a runway model, you are going to have to hem this baby. I liked that it was lightweight, but the previous trials of women trying out this dress had already ripped out the seams on the left shoulder strap. I wasn't too constricted when trying to walk, but I DID have to wear 4-inch heels, and even then I could have tripped on it. Gown is a little difficult to wriggle into, if you want it snug against your body.
Also, the back cowl is only attached at the shoulders. When you look at yourself from the side, you can tell that the cowl hands separate from your body, and there's a gap that I dislike. If I had bought this dress, I would have pinned the center of the cowl to the back, to hold it in place.

Flattering Dress
I didn't even consider this dress until my bridesmaids pointed it out. I was slightly hesitant because they only had one size available to try on so that meant 4 of my girls couldn't try it on. However, when the consultant told me it was sold out from the smallest to the largest size I knew it had to be poplar. I have a wide range of sizes in my bridal party and this dress is flattering on all of them. I believe they are very happy. Plus they can wear the dress for something else in the future. Very satisfied!!!
