Perfect in so many ways
When I tried this dress on, it was only in store as a preview...not even on website yet and not on my list of "favorites". I was actually in for a change of mind from the first dress I chose, when i put it on i couldn't believe how perfect it was. Down to the buttons along the back and the amazing shape. I feel amazing in this dress. So glad i changed my mind! :)

THE dress.
I recently got engaged over Christmas break 2010. I tried on several dresses at David's Bridal, and there were several that looked fantastic...when an employee said that I should try on this dress, I initially wasn't impressed on how it looked on the hanger...Once I put it on I was stunned. It looked drop dead GORGEOUS. I had people coming over to stare at it telling me how pretty it was. Try on dresses that you don't initially like..it might end up being THE dress ;)

I almost didn't try it on!
I went to DB last night with a clear list of which dresses I thought I would be choosing from, but I quickly found out that how the dress looks online or on a mannequin is VERY different from how it looks in person. As I started running out of options, my mom saw this dress in the DB catalogue and insisted I try it. I said I would to be nice, because I thought it was kind of unattractive from the picture. Seeing it in person wasn't much better.
When I tried it on, I was impressed and it made it to the top two. This was the last dress I had on and I was debating between it and dress style CRL277 (another beaded trumpet). I was leaning toward CRL277 until the DB employee put a sash on this dress....
And it became THE dress! My mom started crying and I couldn't believe it--I looked like a bride!
We purchased this dress with sash style S3029 in off-white/soft white and veil VMP9573 in ivory. It's PERFECT! The sash looks like it was made for this dress (and the veil has the same beads that the dress does), and the sash really ties it all together.
And the other reviewers are right...the pictures DO NOT do this dress justice! It looks incredibly classy in person and pictures can't pick up the depth of detail and sparkle going on.
I can't wait for July 9th!

Stunning
This is not the type of dress that I ever imagined myself in...but when I put it on (because the girls at the store made me) I just felt beautiful! Once my grandmother loved it, and asked if they had it in her size...I bought it!
