Perfect dress for an outdoor wedding
I saw this dress online and loved the empire waist. When I read online that they had the same dress as a bridesmaids dress, I went to the store to try it on to see what size I needed. It came in the mail very quickly and packaged really nicely too. The dress is not too poofy but not too simple either. I got married at the end of August outside so I needed something that would be very cool and would flow very well with our theme. This dress was perfect.
Only thing that was a little weird is it has two layers underneath which is great for hiding underwear lines but they bunched up a bit in the front stomach area for me sometimes. I'm very short (4'11") so someone said that I might have been too short waisted for it. No one could tell and my bouquet hid it most of the time. I got so many compliments on the dress and am planning on getting it shortened so I can wear it on other occasions.
If you get it dry cleaned afterwards and don't care about it getting put into a box just tell the dry cleaners that it is a formal dress. Will save you a ton of money. They wanted $100 to clean it when I told them it was a wedding dress so I went somewhere else and just told them it was a formal dress.

DON'T UNDERSTIMATE
i ordered this dress with very low expectations. it arrived in 2 days and i tried it on- THE PICTURES DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!!! i think i found my dress, and i can't believe it was so easy!!! plus, even though you order online, you can still get your alterations, etc @ the store. definitely pay attention to the sizes, because the sequin band is very fitted and has no give, but it much prettier than it looks in the picture. THANK YOU DAVID'S BRIDAL!!!!

I originally wanted dress # BR1009, but my size was sold out until 2 weeks before my wedding, so I had no choice but to look for another dress. I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID. I LOVE this dress. It's perfect for my outdoor / beach wedding and fits more perfect than I could have thought. I do need to have it hemmed up a few inches from the bottom, but other than that, it's perfect. It only took 3 days to come to my front door and the pictures on the website do not do it enough justice! I would DEFINITELY consider this dress for your wedding!
