I LOVE this dress!
I just got married in this dress and it was perfect! Simple and elegant. Light and flowy and easy to move around in (this is one you can put on without help!). I genuinely enjoyed wearing it. TIP: There's a very similar bridesmaid version of this dress available in the store that can be tried on. But know that the bridal version has a much bigger bust (of course that can be taken in)...and the beaded band under the bust has no give. I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a size larger than I thought I'd need...and because of that snug beaded band, I'm REALLY glad I did.

Felt like I was hiding something
This dress is really pretty but even though I went up a size, the chest was too small. It was pretty but made me feel like I was trying to hide my belly. I seriously felt like there might be some people who would think I was expecting. Other than that, it was very flowy and pretty. I'm not going with it though.

Perfect for the Beach, HOWEVER...
I absolutely LOVE this dress! It has a beautiful flow which will be perfect for my beach wedding. I would recommend this dress for anyone looking for something simple and elegant.
A couple things to know:
There is plenty of length if you are tall - I am 5'4" and knew I would need to have it hemmed. I also will need to have the straps shortened.
You will need a slip!
Also, I considered ivory for a minute & glad I didn't.
ALSO... watch the sizing!!!
This dress does have a 'sister' bridesmaids dress -F12495- that you can try on in the store, which I did. It fit perfect so I ordered that size (6), which did not fit so perfectly. It was much tighter where the beading is located (this may be because the beading on the wedding dress version goes around and the b-maid version stops under the arm).
And the recommendation of the online Fit Guide, which shows a pic of this exact dress - "The high waist is the signature of an empire dress and therefore the bust measurement is important."
I went with my bust measurement (size 6) and it was NOT the most important. The bust itself fits, but the band underneath (for breathing & comfort) is unbearably tight. I am willing to get the 8 and have the bust taken in, if necessary.

Absolutely Love This Dress!!
I am having a beach wedding very casual. My fiance is wearing nice dress khaki pants and a white button up or polo shirt. I wanted a simple dress and found it. I found this dress online & was scared of buying it. I went to the davids bridal store and really couldn't find anything I liked. After reading the reviews and showing my mom we bought it.
I am a 36 1/2 bust. I wear a C cup and the size 8 dress fit. Go by the measurements exactly. I didn't measure my stomach and it was a little snug, the top is loose but not too loose. It fits comfortable, and I love this dress. The beading is beautiful flowers. Also it is really long, I'm 5'2 and had to have the bottom altered but it looks great. It is flowy and very beautiful.
Plus we paid for regular shipping on sunday night and it got there wednesday morning. I would recommend this dress to everyone.
