Perfect for a destination beach wedding
I got married on a small island in the Galapagos last fall. I flew to Ecuador with only the items I would need to get married in my carry-on. This dress traveled so well!
I am petite, so I had to have the dress altered after I purchased it (length and sleeves shortened). It is true that is it very sheer, so best to wear a slip underneath. This dress is a great option if you're looking for something that just crosses the line past traditional.

Great style, but...
I ordered this dress online after falling in love with the simple, feminine, romantic, vintage style. My fianc and I both agreed it would be perfect for our spring wedding in Australia this October.
The dress arrived just a few hours ago. The style really suits my body - fits perfectly, and with heels, the length won't be a problem. I ordered the size 2. I'm 5'4" and weigh 114lb. The fabric is quite sheer, so I would need a slip underneath, but that's not a problem.
However, I'm sending it back simply because of the colouring on the dress. The 'golden' tones that many reviewers have described are more brownish-yellow looking. My fianc and I both think it looks like someone's thrown up on my dress! That's just our personal opinion though.
I know that if there was no yellow on it, I'd be keeping the dress and rating it 5 out of 5 for style, value and fit!

our first attempt
We ordered this dress online sight unseen. Not a bad dress but not very fancy for a wedding. The pins broke in my hands when I tried to secure them to the dress. Really long on my 5'7" daughter and you'd better have a generous bust to fill out the bodice top.

Very beautiful, but...
I'd been in love with this dress since the first time I saw it on the site. It is exactly the feel I'm going for, simple and classy. I was nervous to purchase it online without trying it on, but decided to go for it. I'm 5'7" and about 145 pounds, I ordered an 8. It came in the box in about a week and it was really beautiful! The silver and gold are very vintage and classy looking. It is very sheer though, and I really like the sleeves, actually. It is really long too, without adjustments it would require VERY tall shoes. I knew right away however that it would be too big, but still tried it on. I was hoping I'd get the "feeling", but didn't. Perhaps if it had "fit like a glove" I would have felt differently. I made the sad decision to send it back and will keep looking. But if you are nervous about ordering it I would say go for it! It really is lovely! Some dresses just aren't perfect for everyone :)
