Try On In Store Before Purchase!
The picture isn't very clear, but this slip sits high up, covering your stomach. I'm 5'4, and I tried on a size 4 slip, which fits perfect everywhere. The only thing is it is very long, even with the heels I plan to wear, so it will have to be shortened.
The point is that you need to try this on before buying not only so you can figure out all of the adjustments, if any, that need to be made, but also to see if this is a comfortable style for you!

Does what it's supposed to
This slip does exactly what it's supposed to with my dress. Unfortunately, it does run a bit small. Started by ordering my regular size, and had to exchange it for the next size up. That one is still a little tight, but at least I can move in it. Make sure you order 1 to 2 sizes up.

Does run a little small but not much...
I'm 5'5", 108 lbs, 24-25" waist and 33-34" hips. I usually wear a size 0 or XS in bottoms. After reading reviews I decided to order a size 2 in this product and the fit is good. My wedding gown was ordered in a size 2 and was a little big in the waist/hips so I thought ordering a 2 would be my best bet, even though I did consider a 4 based off the reviews. I also consulted the size chart on the website and it seems accurate.
I think the issue is this fits more like bridal sizing, which people tend to be a size larger in bridal then regular street clothes! Order the size your dress was ordered in and you should be good to go. Also the length was perfect for me at 5'5" even without heels (I plan on wearing flats).
This slip seems very comfortable, not heavy at all. I have not tried this on with my dress yet but I expect it to work perfectly. My dress is a lace trumpet gown for reference.
Hope this helps some!

Fell in love with my dress all over again!
I am wearing a cap-sleeve lace trumpet gown, also from DB, and this dress gave it exactly the right amount of fullness! It doesn't give it that severe, angular "mermaid" shape, it just makes it flow smoothly into almost a modified a-line. It also relieves some of the weight of heavily beaded dresses! Extremely comfortable!
One tip: try it on in-store before you buy it, and don't get size shock: I wear a 12/14 in pants and dresses, and had to get a 16W to get the right fit!
