Flattering on every size...
We went in to David's to look for bridesmaids dresses for our friends wedding. She told us to pick any dress so long as it came in plum. We all felt comfortable (there was a new mom in the group as well) in this so we just went ahead and got the same one. The pockets were a plus. I ordered a size 4 and only needed to have it hemmed. Did not go with in house alterations.
***There seem to be many complaints about the zipper getting stuck/breaking. None of the women in the bridal party experienced anything like that. Perhaps proper measurement/ordering in correct size would have prevented that***

No way
My bridesmaids tried this dress on, they range from very slender to thick women. This dress was plain ugly. Made even the bridesmaids who were a size 0 look frumpy.

I'm so excited!
Having bridesmaids of different heights and sizes I knew this dress was prefect would be perfect for all my girls. I was right. We went to DB and tried them on and they fit like a glove. The dresses are well made and accentuate the assests of the girls. It is true the neckline is a tad low. However the girls looked wonderful. I will post pics in a later review. I would recommend this dress to anyone! I can't wait for my wedding in Sept. 2013 wedding!

Great Dress
Bought this dress for a formal event that the Chamber Orchestra I play in is having. I found it in Holly on sale on the David's Bridal website. I was very leery about buying a dress like this online, but I went by their measurement guides and ordered the appropriate size. It fit *perfectly* when it came...the only alteration needed was at the hem (I'm only 5'2"). Note: this does have a rather low neckline. My seamstress is putting a piece in from the leftover skirt material to raise the neckline a bit, as it showed more cleavage than I was comfortable with. All in all though, a gorgeous dress!
