Great dress for a great price I wore this dress last week at my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Because it had shoulder straps, it was nice to not have to pull it up all night. A few helpful tips if you buy this dress: get a low back bra converter; it's a strap that costs about $8 (online or at Macy's) and it's the only way to wear a bra with this dress. David's Bridal corsets show on the back of this dress, so that's not an option. The low strap converter worked great and I used two safety pins to gently pin it to the dress. Also, the bow is great, but it came undone a few times during the night, so make sure you have someone to watch for this and fix it immediately. I'm thinking there are a few pictures where the bow isn't tied and I'm kinda bummed about that. I felt beautiful and the dress was comfortable (no slip required), so I suggest getting it for sure!! Well made, elegant gown My mother picked out this dress for me to try. The back was stunning so I gave it a shot. I had already been to two other bridal salons, but had yet to find the right tone I was looking for. When my consultant zipped up the dress I fell in love with the material, a soft chiffon that falls like a dream. When I saw myself in the dress I could not stop smiling. This is a well made dress and looks MUCH more expensive than it is. I am 5'2 and 124 pounds. The size four fit well with minimal alterations to the shoulder. The dress made me feel taller and minimized my wide shoulders. It moves well, is non restricting. I recommend a slip underneath and have them build in bra cups. June 23, 2013
Wow!!! I bought a dress from David's and I liked it but didn't love it. I continued to look in the stores, online and in the catalog. I kind of liked this dress and on a whim decided to try it on in the store. I was in LOVE when I tried it on. So gorgeous on and the picture certainly doesn't do it justice. Pairing my gown (ivory size 4) with a bling belt from another gown (style # G12755) at David's and it looks amazing! Never thought I would buy from this store, but as he saying goes never judge a book by its cover! June 21, 2013
I am normally not that girly... However I felt beautiful in this dress. After having two kids and a few extra pounds, I don't do the "girly" thing that often. I usually stick to basic basic fashion, with no frills and minimum bling. My street size is a 12, but this dress made me feel like a size 8! This dress has the clean lines for me, a touch of lace for my mom with the appliques, straps so I can wear a regular bra with it (will be getting an extender meant for "low back" styles), and a gorgeous back. The ruffles are my favorite part! My Maid of Honor gasped! My friends are all in awe. I can't wait until my dress fitting! June 17, 2013
