For the elegant, simple bride
This gown is perfect for a petite figure. I wanted something beautiful, elegant, and simple. This was the perfect dress. The photo does not do the dress justice. The chiffon looks far more expensive than it actually is, and the draping and cinching slims the waist. The floral detail in front creates a belt effect, slimming your figure even more. The back of this dress has a row of white buttons near the zipper, adding a cute, yet feminine touch.
You will feel like a regal goddess in this dress. I highly recommend trying this on in person if you want something simple with that little something special for your wedding, but without sacrificing elegance and beauty.
Only complaint I have is that when my dress arrived, the seam on the zipper on the back had opened up. David's fixed it promptly during the store, though. Also, the buttons on the back are very roughly sewn on. They are not tight at all. If you are buying in store, make sure to TRIPLE CHECK the dress for defects, because you can't return this dress later for a defect you find at home.

Perfect for 40+ bride
It's difficult to find a flattering wedding dress if you're no longer 25 years old... The poofy ball gowns felt silly, and all of the sequins and layers on other dresses were heavy and uncomfortable. I wanted a simple, flowing, elegant dress that wouldn't make me sweat, itch, or hold my breath. This is the perfect dress. It glides over my body beautifully, yet somehow doesn't make me look fat like other dresses do. The silk chiffon in ivory is superior to other chiffons. Feels more like an elegant cocktail gown. Flows like a dream. I normally wear a size 10 dress, but I needed this one in a 14. I wish they'd change the crazy bridal-wear sizing. Now all I need are comfortable shoes!

RockedthisDress
I made several visits to Davids Bridal and had several I liked for accentuating an hourglass figure. I tried this one on a later visit and thought it was perfect for my Key West wedding at a very humid Conservatory. I also really like floral accents so those 3 little pompom fabric and bead flowers in front were perfect.
Come my big day, I was right--I was told several times I rocked the dress, and it was supercomfortable.
If you have an hourglass figure--Like '40s and '50s screen sirens, you have at least try this one on!

Almost Overlooked
David's Bridal was the first place I went to for wedding dress shopping. I honestly didn't think I'd leave that day with a dress, yet I did, when I tried on this dress.
I tried on about 10 dresses and found one that I loved. I stayed in that dress for 20 minutes looking at myself, waiting to find something that I didn't like. I was ready to purchase when the amazing lady that was helping me said she had one more for me to try on. To be fair I said that I would try it on, even though I was sure I already had the one I wanted. The dress she had for me was this one.
When I walked out of the dressing room my mother said, "Wow." So, I turned around to look in the mirror and saw what she was talking about. It was just perfect for me. I was suddenly torn between this one and the one before. So, of course, I stayed in this one for 20 minutes waiting for myself to find something wrong with it.
I am uncomfortable about my arms, and this one being strapless gave me pause. But, the lady helping us suggested a bolero. I tried one on with this dress and that did it for me. A bolero would not have worked with the other one.
An important note to make is that I am 6ft tall. This dress is the perfect length, no alterations need to be made except to be taken in slightly.
This dress is gorgeous and comfortable. For the ceremony I will wear the ivory bolero with it and without for the reception. It looks wonderful with a long veil, short veil, or an embellished hair clip, which I will wear.
I would recommend this dress for a woman of any shape or height, it's just that flattering. And with the endless accessory options, it's truly customizable.
Good luck on your dress shopping and I hope this review helped!
