So Flattering! I was so discouraged with so many dresses I tried on, on a whim my consultant pulled this dress...I was in love cinched my waist! the lines and cut are so beyond flattering! It was very light, which was great for my outdoor June wedding. I bought the slip to go under it and actually didn;t even wear it. Wasn;t needed. August 19, 2012
Love my dress I love my dress. It was the first dress I tried on, because right after I got engaged I started looking for dresses online. I would go online to search for bridal dresses but I would always come back to DB to this dress. When I went to my appointment to try on the dresses I had picked, I just ignored the rest because this I knew was the one. I am about 250 pounds so this dress does a great job on hiding your extra pounds. I got the lace jacket which goes well with the dress. The dress may look simple online but wait until you see it on you; it will take your breath away. I cant wait for my December wedding and for my future husband to see me with this dress. Wow! What a find I started my dress search more than a year before my wedding - some thought I was crazy for this... I had a hard time finding ones I would even try on or even say yes to...After months of searching for my dress. I found this one. I had been to several bridal shops and this was my 3rd DB location. My mom and I were near a DB location and decided to go in during the week without an appointment. My consultant, Monica, was patient and committed to helping me find the one. Dresses that I had tried on before always had something about them that concerned me (how they would look in my size, price, fit, style, etc.) since I am a plus size bride and I could not say yes to those without second guessing if it was the ONE. DB dresses I had tried on before were already discontinued - so we started from scratch. I pulled a couple as did she. This was the first dress I tried on that day and I loved it the most. We added a veil and tiara and I walked toward the mirror - I at that point I knew that this was my dress. Then I asked what it would look like bustled and that sealed it for sure. The "bustle specialist" as my consultant referred to her, made the back of the dress look great without hiding the lace and beading on the train. The best part was that I did not break the bank on the dress - and it ended up being on sale! I know that with this dress, I will look amazing on my special day with a great dress at my outdoor summer wedding (7/27/13)! July 25, 2012
