Wow! What a find
I started my dress search more than a year before my wedding - some thought I was crazy for this... I had a hard time finding ones I would even try on or even say yes to...After months of searching for my dress. I found this one. I had been to several bridal shops and this was my 3rd DB location. My mom and I were near a DB location and decided to go in during the week without an appointment. My consultant, Monica, was patient and committed to helping me find the one. Dresses that I had tried on before always had something about them that concerned me (how they would look in my size, price, fit, style, etc.) since I am a plus size bride and I could not say yes to those without second guessing if it was the ONE. DB dresses I had tried on before were already discontinued - so we started from scratch. I pulled a couple as did she. This was the first dress I tried on that day and I loved it the most. We added a veil and tiara and I walked toward the mirror - I at that point I knew that this was my dress. Then I asked what it would look like bustled and that sealed it for sure. The "bustle specialist" as my consultant referred to her, made the back of the dress look great without hiding the lace and beading on the train. The best part was that I did not break the bank on the dress - and it ended up being on sale! I know that with this dress, I will look amazing on my special day with a great dress at my outdoor summer wedding (7/27/13)!

I never buy clothes online, yet this time I did. I knew I wanted something that no one else had seen here before and DB is not a huge market name here. I went online and found DB, for plus size girls. I have never been the one dreaming of a huge wedding or THE gown, yet I found myself going back to this picture of a really happy bride in a really pretty dress. All the helpful reviews and pictures from this site also made me take a chance on this. Family and friends thought I was crazy, ordering a wedding dress online- never seen, never fitted- with a few weeks before the wedding as well. It took only four days to ship it over ( granted the shipping costs was a bit steep, but the dress was so fair priced that it did not matter), I took it out of the box and was very surprised over the weight of the dress, the seams, the chiffon, the embroidery..everything! My gosh! It holds everything in the right places, gives such a flattering shape and so comfortable to wear. I got so many compliments over the dress, the chiffon, the flow, the quality, the fit. I added a lace bolero so I wouldnt feel too naked on top. The only thing I would have done differently was to get one without a train, since I was carrying it around all day and got quite fed up with it ..haha. For a big girl like me (sz 16) it was truly a good experience to find something that looked so flattering. It was a amazing day in a amazing dress bought online!

Best slimming dress for girls of all sizes
OK ladies, at 5'11" and 325lbs I am no small lady and I have rather wide hips But when I put this dress on I felt the most beautiful I have felt my whole life.
It is so flattering and slimming, hugging in all the right places. It is lighter weight then satin so was much cooler (we larger laddies do not need to be all hot and sweaty on our wedding day) so easy and comfortable to walk around in ( I was in it for about 4 hours over the course of two days at DB, I never wanted to take it off.) It would be great for any kind of wedding. I am adding a plum sash to give an extra pop of color because it made it even more slimming. (wider sashes look better with this dress and this is from a girl who was never going to put a sash on her wedding dress)
I went to another dress shop before DB and tried on 5 dresses there at the request of my wedding planner and even tried on another dress once at DB but I knew I wanted to try this one on after seeing it online. It was SO PERFECT!
I couldn't buy the dress without my mom seeing it first so went back the very next day to order it. I was able to get a size 24 ( I know, I was shocked too! :) but needed extra length. Over those two days I saw 4 other girls of various size and shapes pick this dress and it looked the best on all of them. I was the biggest of them and no other dress even remotely compared to this one. I would recommend it to anyone. You HAVE to at least go try it on!!

Like a dream!
This wonderful dress was in a completely different direction that what I had been shopping for initially. That being said, I am so glad my consultant pulled it for me. The other dresses I tried on didn't match my personality but this dress fits ME perfectly in every way just like my fiance "fits" me in every way.
