Wonderful!
I was married last autumn and I was an older (late 50's) first time bride. Since I was only "doing this once", I wanted no regrets! I had the white wedding. I will never be a "little thing" but this dress was what I wanted: Flattering and classy! I added the lace sleeves David's offers and it was perfect. Only wished I had done a better job picking out my shoes! (bring white slippers to the reception!) David's Bridal was wonderful to deal with.

Flowing, slimming, GLOWING!
I went to david's with my notebook in hand, convinced that I knew I wanted a very traditional, simple, satin wedding dress. I tried on a few and liked them, but none of them "did it for me". Kelsey, my wonderful right hand David's Bridal wedding coordinator told me to try this one on. I looked in the mirror and loved the way it slimmed my waist which is my "problem area" I am a size 18W and I swear it made me look like a 14 W! The BEST part about the dress is that I wore IT, IT didn't wear me. It moved with me when I walked and the first thing I said to Kelsey as she laced it up was "God this is comfortable!" What a great thing to say about a plus size wedding dress. Also, I tend to get hot rather easily and it is very light weight as wedding dresses go. I was very pleased with Kelsy, the dress, and my whole David's Bridal experience...give this one a try if you are looking for lightweight, comfortable and waist slimming! You will not be disappointed!

Just what I wanted!!!
Girls, at first I was going to be selfish, and NOT write a review of this gown, 'cause I didn't want a whole lot of people having it. But then, my natural good sense got the best of me, and I changed my mind. LOL!
The truth is, that this gown simply ROCKS!!! It was exactly what I wanted - seemed simple on the hanger, but once I put it on, I was transformed into a stunning bride. It REALLY enhanced my size 12 figure, and made me look amazing - the size 4s had nothing on me. I was all womanly curves . . . and a cute waist. My groom couldn't take his eyes off me - neither could any of the guests. I got married in Africa, and people kept asking me . . . where DID you get your dress?!!! It's so different from anything we've seen.
Make sure you get the brasillete and spanks for the extra slim look - you will not regret it.

Love my dress
I can not believe it only took 2 hours and five dresses to find MY DRESS! I love this dress and can't wait to walk down the aisle! My consultant was great!
