Simple yet stunning, this charmeuse gown is perfect for the high-fashion, modern bride.
Train that extends one and a third yards (about 4 feet) from the waist. Elaborate designs stitched into the gown by hand or machine. May be beaded. Lightweight shimmery satin with a soft, contouring drape. A decorative fabric design or lace cutout that is applied to another fabric such as a dress, veil or shoes. A neckline featuring straps that wrap around from the front and connect at the back. Tight decorative gathers which create flattering pleats in the fabric. As the name implies, the neckline dips down in the front and often in the back as well. A design feature where a triangular piece of fabric is inserted into the skirt to add fullness. |

Lovely!
The only dress style I didn't want was a halter...until my mother made me try this dress on. I just fell in love with it, and it fit like it was made just for me!

Classic, but gaps slightly
This dress was fantastic and fit my form beautifully! It really shows off a womanly shape. I didn't have any trouble with the snap behind the neck coming undone (even though I forgot to reinforce it like I read I should) but I did notice in my photos that the fabric gaped where it wrapped around my left side, right at the rhinestone belt. This made a bulge at my waist in most of my pictures. I strongly suggest putting it on and having someone take pictures of you so you can see if it does the same to you and if it does, to secure that fabric with fabric tape. It also showed a little more cleavage than I desired. There was also a gap near the arms on the bust that protruded a little like "wings", so watch for that. But all in all, it was beautiful and I wouldn't have wanted any other dress. It was perfect for me! For perspective, I am 5'4" and 145 lbs, with a 36 DD bust. I wore the size 10 and no alterations were made. I didn't upload pictures that show the dress at it's best, only pictures that can help other brides avoid some of the small undesirable habits that should be watched for. Most of the pictures came out fine and both the dress and me in the dress look beautiful! It really is a fantastic gown. My wedding was a 1940's classic Hollywood theme and my colors were gold and turquoise with other peacock shades.

the perfect dress for me
I got married this summer and as a second time "older" bride I wanted something special but something that didn't make me look like I was trying to be 23 again. I found the perfect dress at David's Bridal at the Scarbourgh Ontario location. The price was right and the style perfect for my size and shape. The wedding was perfect, my husband I were married in our garden with family and friends on a beautiful sunny July day.
Here is a picture of my handsome husband and myself.

Cannot Wait to Wear
Started off wanting a short dress for a Vegas wedding. Consultant asked if I would consider a long dress if it had the right Vegas feel and I said "sure" - she pulled this dress and my finance and I were in love. It has all the elements we were looking for. Dress has a glamorous sexy feel, yet still with a soft romantic flair. I'm 5'6" and the size 8 fit perfectly, minor alterations will be needed to take it in a little and add bra cups. Halter style is perfect for bustier girls, like me, and the waist looks tiny with great emphasis on the hips with the drop waist beading. Legs look long and sexy with the simple bottom of the dress - love it and can't wait to wear it in Vegas or maybe now Venice
