Great For The HourGlass Figure I got married earlier this year (yay!); however, finding a dress was really hard until I came across this one! I wanted an A-line-styled dressed but I soon realized that a trumpet styled dress fit me better. As soon as I put it on my sister and my friends all smiled & agreed that this was the dress for me. I lighted up. The dress hit all the right curves on my body; it was sexy and demure; it wasn't heavy; it wore well in the daytime and the evening; and it was easy to put on and get out of! Btw, I'll try to put our professional pictures of the dress later...but I hope these family shots help. May 19, 2010
"Wow" Factor gown This wasn't my choice for a dress. It looked a little too much like a banquet dress rather than a wedding gown. I chose a different gown but when I went to purchase the gown my mother was immediately drawn to that one. Even though I had already chosen a gown, I decided to try about 4 other gowns before making my final decision. This was my 3rd gown and as soon as I put it on I knew this was the one. My mother and future mother-in-law said my face lit up when I came out of the dressing room. The gown is so light and form fitting. My mother, mother-in-law and my best friend said out of all the gowns I tried on this gown had the "Wow" factor. This picture really doesn't do it justice. A word of advice... the ivory gown looks alot more elegant than the white. April 16, 2010
Lots of compliments I disliked this gown on both the model and the dress form. For whatever reason, I decided to try it on and fell in love! It's exactly what I wanted at a fraction of the cost as the other designer gowns I was trying. My only negative comment was that the dress was heavy and all of the weight rests on those two little threads at the top of the halter! I had mine reinforced and it was fine all night. I received a lot of comments about how beautiful the dress was. April 15, 2010
Perfect! I'm a size 4 but have very curvy hips. I never even thought of trying on a dress like this. When we walked into David's Bridal we saw this on a mannequin and because it was so pretty my maid of honor talked me into trying it on just out of curiosity. When I looked in the mirror it felt perfect. I tried on about 10 other dresses and kept going back to this one. Regarding the question below about jewelry, I'm wearing the pearl necklace my mom wore on her wedding day, but I had on a delicate necklace (white gold chain with a single pearl and a little white gold decoration around it) on when I tried the dress and it looked perfect. This dress has a bit of a 1940s movie star appeal to it and I love it! March 22, 2010
