Simple yet stunning, this charmeuse gown is perfect for the high-fashion, modern bride.
Train that extends one and a third yards (about 4 feet) from the waist. Elaborate designs stitched into the gown by hand or machine. May be beaded. Lightweight shimmery satin with a soft, contouring drape. A decorative fabric design or lace cutout that is applied to another fabric such as a dress, veil or shoes. A neckline featuring straps that wrap around from the front and connect at the back. Tight decorative gathers which create flattering pleats in the fabric. As the name implies, the neckline dips down in the front and often in the back as well. A design feature where a triangular piece of fabric is inserted into the skirt to add fullness. |

Stunning gown, does not look like picture
My daughter wore this gown, which wasn't even on her "favorites" list when we went to David's. It is the most beautiful charmeuse and drapes just perfectly. Simply elegant and stunning without "being over the top". She was comfortable in it, needed very little accessorization. I never saw her look so beautiful as her wedding day and the dress was definitely part of the picture perfect bride.

STUNNING
This dress is absolutely stunning!! Very classy and elegant. Believe it or not it was only the 2nd dress I tried on. Nothing else compared after this one. I agree with the other review that it looks like Old Hollywood Gamour. I am a size 6 to 8 with very curvey hips and thighs and a 36C bust at 5'6" and 140 lbs. A size 8 was the right size, but it is tight and there is no room to spare ( 5-8 pounds less and it would fit even better). It really showcases my body beautifully. Seriously, any man would fall at your feet in this dress.

Loved This Dress!
First of all, I want to say this dress took a lot of work to get it where I wanted it to be. I usually wear a size 4 in regular clothing but originally bought the dress in a 2 because the sample 4 was too big. Once the size 2 came in, the torso area was not long enough for my frame. Because I am 5'6", the drop waist was not a drop waist on me in the size 2. I ended up having to re-order a 4 and start with the alterations. First off, there are these seams that go straight across the center of each breast that are VERY noticeable. However, the seamstress did an amazing job and just moved the pads that were behind the seam and replaced them IN FRONT of the seam. Secondly, i needed to take it in. Obviously you always have to do something like that for your wedding dress. The seamstresses at David's Bridal did a fantastic job, I was very pleased. Just be warned, you will probably want to fix the bust seam area. I can't tell you how many compliments I got on the gown. True, real, and genuine compliments. People were saying how "vintage" and "timeless" it is. I was so happy and felt like a bride the entire day, just like we should! I opted on a cathedral veil, which I never thought I would. However, since the train on this dress isn't super long, I wanted something a little dramatic. I got this dress in Ivory and was so excited to find a veil that was outlined in the same ivory satin as the dress...a PERFECT match! Overall I was more than pleased with my dress!!
