4p fit me perfect. I'm about 5'4, 120lbs. I have bigger hips/waist so the dress is a little more fitted than in the picture - and I like it that way. the only alteration I need to do is have some support sewn in.
I did not like the belt it came with - like a few people said just turn it around.
fyi, I asked about buying the sample for cheaper, and they are actually the same price as ordering a brand new one.

a lot prettier in person
I wanted something lacy and with a keyhole back. I tried this on and the more I looked at it the more I liked it. It was totally me and had everything I wanted. I got lucky and caught it on sale plus didn't have to order it because the one in the store fit me fine. The only alteration I had to have done was a hem because it was too long. I had a local woman do that though because she only charges $25 whereas DB would've charged a lot more for the same thing. I got a size two. It was a little bit loose on me but not enough to mess with altering. It's beautiful with a bustle as well. It came with a plain white sash that I didn't even know about but I ended up liking it better than the bling bling one. I think it would look ok without a sash at all honestly. I got lots of compliments on it - even from the guys. Haha. So if you're kinda on the fence about this one my advise is to try it on. I'm sure it's not for everyone, but it's definitely worth a try :)

I had been looking for simple but standout kind of dress. When I seen this dress I fell in love with it, it fits so perfect! I just love the open back and vintage look! I am so glad I found this dress!

Dream Dress!
This dress is elegant, understated, and unique. I tried on several dresses that most of my girlfriends would have chosen first, but once I had put this dress on I didn't need to try on any others. It is traditional while still being one-of-a-kind; conservative but flattering with a gorgeous back (this is one of its greatest selling points). I'm pear-shaped and wanted something that highlighted my shoulders and waist, and this dress does just that. A few alterations: I will be pulling the dress in at the hips to create a more obvious hour-glass frame, and I bought a separate belt from David's Bridal for the dress with less rhinestones. I am olive-toned and got the dress in White because it just popped against my skin. I am typically a size 4-- I got this in a size 6 and am having it pulled in at the waist and hips, as the shoulders would have been too tight in a size 4. Anyway-- this dress is elegant and beautiful. Definitely a dress you will look back on decades from now and still adore!
