Answered prayer
I originally didn't try this dress on because of how it looked on the rack. I have a few curves to me, so I didn't think it would look good. Last week I became worried that I wasn't going to find a dress I absolutely loved because although I really liked some of the dresses I had tried on, I didn't have a feeling that any of them were the one. So I went in about a week ago and tried on dresses with just myself and my sisters. I still had doubts when they took it to my room.... It didn't look like it would look good on me, but then I tried it on and almost started crying. This one was an answered prayer and it's BEAUTFIFUL! Try it on before you judge it.

Timeless
Our ceremony was in an old mission and our reception at an old timey western ranch in the saloon. The dress performed wonderfully. It had the vintage look I was going for as well as a traditional, elegant feel. I knew I wanted a dress I could move in comfortably and that would bustle nicely. I had a five point bustle. I considered changing the sash to match my colors, but never found a sash in the color I needed. I paired the dress with an old style mantilla veil since we were being married in the mission. I wore a mermaid slip to add some volume to the skirt. The dress was so light and airy! I also wore my hair down, despite the keyhole b/c my hubby loves my hair down. I had to have the dress taken in around the chest and added cups. Despite ordering a size six the chest area was still large. I am a medium C cup. The only reason I marked it down was b/c the lace on the bodice isn't consistently symmetrical and sticks up in some places, though it didn't show in any of the wedding pics. This dress will stand the test the of time, thus, I preserved it for my daughter... =)

Love This Dress
I absolutely love this dress. It is beuatiful and fits perfectly. I am having the sash removed and lowered so that it sits right across my hips.

Fate!!!
I loved this dress the first time I saw it. But I am a bit curvy and did not think it would work on me, so I picked a different dress without even trying the one I loved on. One week before my wedding, do to some complications with the first dress I purchased, I had to get another dress. So, in a panic, I headed back to David's. Rememering the dress I had thought was so beautiful, I decided to try it on. And I was so glad I did! Somethings are just meant to be and it was meant for me to have this dress! It fit beautifully! It was so light weight and soft. And the lace is so elegant! I did change the sash to the truffle color to match my bridesmaid's, but other than that it was perfect. I did not want to take it off! I had a elegant, rustic country wedding and it fit so beautifully! I could dance and move in it with ease and I received nothing but compliments on it the entire day.
