Timeless beauty
Here is a long story made short. I originally purchased an off the shoulder wedding gown on davids bridal online. it was like a dress i tried on in the store but i didnt want a long train so there was a online version i thought would be perfect. Well 2 1/2 weeks before my wedding I went o have it altered at a nearby highly reccommended alterations store and well.. my dress that was just to have a bussle added and the shoulder material taken in was ruined. I went to davids bridal that night to look at last minute options. I was in a complete panic. I took the fall guide to look over night (since I scheduled an appt the following day) and I saw this dress. It wasnt my first pick but I thought why not give it a try. I tried the gown on and I knew it was "my dress" :) . I didnt feel that wasy with my first, there always something missing with that 1st dress. But I fell in love with this dress, I felt like a classic Hollywood Star. I would reccommend this dress to a plus size women who wants to feel sexy, beautiful and timeless!

FIGURE FLATTERY ALL THE WAY!!!!!
I definately do NOT have the body of any of these bridal models and I put off shopping for my wedding gown for MONTHS! I actually waited until just under 4 weeks till the wedding to even go shopping for one. This gown, from the moment I saw it online was everything I could ask for. It was plus sized, had a great shape, lace and buttons down the back which I love and it was sexy but not in a really revealing way. More classic, timeless beauty. I tried on 2 other dresses that day and tried ths one on first and again before I made the purchase. It covered and hid all of my problem areas and really cut down on my oversized bust (F cup). The ruching under the bust really defines the waist and gives great seperation and at the same time slims a wide frame or tummy bulge. Because I waited so long and my wedding was in August, they didn't have time for alterations but I honestly didn't need any aside from lifting the hem (and that was only because I'm 5'5" and wanted to wear bridal slippers). I ended up getting one of the super full ball gown slips instead of an A-line and I think it made it look EVEN BETTER! It still had the A-line shape but it was fuller and lifted the hem and it was more "bridal" feeling! Not nearly as poofy as a ball gown though. One of my biggest things was showing my arm "jiggle" that every woman worries about and I searched forever for a dress with a bolero jacket that I liked. This dress, with the lace cap sleeves actually makes you feel like you have that security blanket. I didn't worry about anything in this dress and being a plus sized woman, that's an unusal thing. A wedding dress is all about making you feel beautiful and not think about your body "flaws" or problem areas and honestly, this dress did that. I truely believe you could hide ANYTHING in this dress and still look AH-MAZ-ING..!

This is It!
I was so impressed with the service I got when I visited my local David's Bridal. They took their time and I am so glad because this was the last dress I tried on and it was closing itme and they didn't rush me out or anything. This dress is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. The beading on the lace is gorgeous; very tastefully done and the back of the dress is spectacular. I am so happy I found this dress and would recommend it to anyone who wants and elegant dress that had some bling without being flashy.
