Awesome Dress! I bought this dress for my July 2010 wedding. It has the vintage feel I wanted and looks incredible with the birdcage veil I designed. I purchased this dress in white but I tried it on in ivory and both colors are superb. I was amazed at how this dress flattered my size 10, 5' 5'' Athletic figure. I had a hard time finding a dress that complimented my style and body shape. I can't wait to wear it this summer. February 8, 2010
Perfect for my beach wedding Great dress. I got it in Ivory. I am very busty, so I am having a seamstress alter the back, so I can wear it with a good bra. I tried finding a low cut bra, but they only go up to a C-D cup, so if you have a larger bust, I would not recommend this dress since it doesnt offer musch support. Its still a gorgeous gown, especially in IVORY. It is perfect for an outdoor beach wedding...also ask about the matching veils (there are two) and absolutely amazing...it totally completes this dress. February 5, 2010
Love the Style, not the quality Bought this dress for my Summer 10 wedding. The simple silhouette is classy and elegant, and the light fabric and movement in the skirt made it perfectly light and flirty for a summer wedding. I tried on a few others but was set on buying this one. My mom and I agreed that the style was exactly what I was looking for but felt it was a little too simple since the white-on-white of the lace details are easy to overlook. We decided to add some subtle beadwork over the lace, nothing heavy, just enough to catch the light a little and compliment the subtleties of the dress. Im thankful we decided to do this because in going over it we found that the lace was attached very loosely and that there were strings sticking out everywhere. Also, in places the piping on the lace didnt meet and was already beginning to fray. Were cleaning it up but I was a little disappointed at how haphazardly the dress was constructed. When we are finished I expect it to be everything Ive ever wanted for my wedding dress but when I picked it up I felt like it was a shell of a dress that left a little to be desired.
