Love this dress! I tried this dress on only because none of the others had given me "that feeling". I wasn't sure how it would actually look as I am clearly not the size 0 as the model in the photo is. But when I got it on it felt comfortable like none of the others had. I felt elegant but not weighed down. The wide straps helps keep the dress up but with beautiful lace. I loved the look of having lace through the dress with out the price of a lace dress. For our first dance we learned the v. waltz and this dress looked and performed great. It had a beautiful flow. At the reception, I was as comfortable as if I had a simple sundress on...well, once my heels came off. Down falls- It has a very low back. If you don't need a bra then this is not a problem, but for someone larger busted as myself, this proved difficult to solve. Ultimately, I went with a bra that has stickies on the side. But also due to the low back, this dress can't help hold you up. Other than these problems, the dress is alwsome! January 19, 2012
Don't judge it on the Hangar I was looking for a vintage look and got this in ivory. However, at first I looked at the dress on the hangar and said "OH NO!" My niece's boyfriend said to try it on because it might look different once it's on. He was right, I put it on and it was what I was looking for. I even tried three more dresses on to make sure and I went right back to this one. The only thing I added/changed was I bought a champange satin sash and it complimented the ivory lace. Recommend that you get bra pads put in so you don't have to wear a bra. January 17, 2012
Very Pretty This dress was very pretty on. I had seen it in the David's Bridal commercials and was dying to try it on. I am nit-picky and didn't like that the lace didn't go all the way to the bottom for my formal wedding but it is a very elegant dress and would be great outdoors. January 11, 2012
Good for Petites Just want to offer some advice to petite brides considering this dress. I'm 5'3, 122 lbs with a 32DD chest size. I tried on and ordered the 4 but ended up changing my order to a 4 petite having read the online reviews by brides-to-be of similar proportions. It was a good move - the petite fits a lot better on the torso and in length. I don't think it'll need any alterations, just some good underwear and not too high heels [maybe 2 inches?]. There's always the option to change into killer heels to hit the dancefloor - no one will notice if the dress doesnt meet the floor at that point! January 9, 2012
