My perfect dress
I'm not the average bride. I have my ears gauged and generally have more of a punk clothing style for everyday, so when I went into DB I wasn't really expecting to find anything I liked. I tried on a few dresses I thought were pretty online but after trying on realized they weren't really my style. Then my attendant girl grabbed this one to try. As soon as I tried this one on I knew that was it. This was the one. I tried on a few after just to be sure, but I knew this one was it. The profile picture for this dress really needs to be on a darker background to see the detail in this dress. The burnout chiffon bottom and the 3D flower detail on the sash really is what drew me to this dress. Not the standard wedding style, it's just perfect and screams "me!" As many others said, it's far more beautiful in person than those pictures.
I can't believe I found my perfect wedding dress for so little money!

Wonderful!
I am a street size 12 who is very busty (think G cup). I bought this dress in a 14 and it was just wonderful as my wedding dress. I did not use DB for tailoring, but instead went to a dynamite local tailor. In addition to taking in the train for me (I'm 5'3"), he also took in the bust in a couple places so that it fit better. What was also genius is that I got a great strapless bra and he added snaps to the dress and the bra so that I would snap into it -- preventing the dress from falling below the line of the bra. Worked great.
I never thought I would rock a strapless dress, but with a great tailor and a great bra, all things are possible!
I would also like to add that the burnout chiffon is a fantastic detail! A great way to add a little "something" to the dress without beads or jewels. Perfect for our beach wedding.

A surprise love
This was my second time going into David's bridal because I did not like the first dress I fell in love with (luckily I didn't buy it.)
I had told myself no ball gown, must have long train and no strapless. & most of all I wanted that vintage lace.
But this dress being the exact opposite was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. It hugged my figure in all the right places, and the burned-out chiffon brought out that beautiful floral detail.
I love this dress and I can't wait until my wedding.
