Great for a destination wedding
I loved this dress. My husband and I got married in Negril, Jamaica and this dress was perfect. It was very light and comfortable. There is enough structure in the bodice, though, for it to stay up comfortably. I did not give it 5 stars because I would NOT recommend this dress for an indoor wedding or reception. The reason is that the lining is very shiny, and in the few pictures I took indoors, it looked cheap and unflattering. Outdoors, however, it was just beautiful. Also, it is a bit see-through, so be sure to wear nude undergarments, not white.

Loved this Dress
I just got home from my destination wedding in Mexico. I was so happy with this dress!! I honestly never thought that I'd buy a David's Bridal dress but I am so glad that I did. First, the price can't be beat. All my friends who bought more expensive dresses said that they wished they had not spent the money (or spent it elsewhere!). The quality of this dress is excellent. Second, I made it "my own" by tailoring it to exactly what I wanted: First, I sweethearted the neckline and removed the neckline lace trim. I also had it tightened around the thighs and a tiny bit of tulle added around the lower legs for more of a mermaid look. I also bought the flower (see picture) for the sash, also from DB. The tailor added bra cups which made it a little more comfortable and I didn't need to wear a bra with it. They also hemmed it, added a bussle, and took it in cause it was a little bit big. (All alterations cost $140 at a separate tailor - not DB's tailor.) Another excellent aspect of this dress is how light-weight and easy it is to travel with. I put it in a tri-folding garment bag with a bunch of other clothes and it was perfect when I hung it up in Mexico. The lace and flowy-ness are very beachy! Ok, if I have to include one bad things, it is that the sash would not stay tied, so you might want to actually sew it tied or something. I kept having bridesmaids run over to re-tie it. I recommend this dress very highly and suggest that you go try it on! Be open minded and remember that tailors can make it perfect for you!

Gorgeous dress
My wedding is going to be in the mountains and will be simple yet elegant...this dress says it all. I tried on 8 dresses and this was the first one on the rack I had pulled for me. The ivory color, lace, and subtle sparkle of the sequins make for such a gorgeous look. I tried it on and felt so beautiful. It creates a very slimming look and is very 'flowy' fabric-wise. The lace is just gorgeous and makes for a more classic, yet simple look. I tried on the rest of my dresses but kept thinking back to how beautiful the first one was. I am so happy with my choice. Another bonus is the dress is scheduled to arrive for pickup in only a month!

my dream dress
I absolutely love this gown. It is the perfect combination of sexy and elegant. Its just right for my destination wedding and for a mature bride (46). I didnt want to wear a poufy ball gown more appropriate for a young bride. I cant wait til my sweetheart sees me in it!
