Couldn't have picked a better dress. This dress was perfect. It was very comfortable, delicate nature with a vintage feel. It was lightweight, which was great because it was hot out. The ad does not do it justice. There is a satiny layer covered by lace with tiny sparkles here and there a very vintage look that fit perfectly with our historical wedding site. It was a fantastic pick for my very intimate destination wedding in St. Thomas at Hassel Island. September 24, 2013
Just Right This was actually the second dress I purchased. I got engaged a year and a half ago and bought my original dress over a year ago. As time went on I started to have doubts and panicked. I went back to David's and found this dress. It fit like a glove and was so light. My original dress was heavy and I knew I wouldn't be able to dance in it. But this dress s a different story, so comfortable and the price is right. I highly recommend it!!! August 31, 2013
Perfect Dress for Me I only tried on three dresses and I knew this was the perfect one immediately. It just felt comfortable and I still felt like me when I put it on, not someone playing dress-up. I had a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic in July, so it was hot, but I didn't overheat in this dress because it doesn't have a bunch of layers. It's light and also doesn't require a slip. I loved it and I have no regrets. The only advice I would give would be to have a seamstress sew in an extra hook & eye, because mine broke...TWICE!! So I was yanking my dress up most of the night. Luckily the dress has boning in the torso area, so it pretty much stayed up on it's own. :-) August 22, 2013
Beware of alterations- but worth it in the end. At first I bought a completely different dress, but I was unhappy with it(never let people convince you) get what you want, and try different things! So I went back, and fell in love with this one. However, alterations were a nightmare! Bring people with you to see the things you don't, and know who you are dealing with..after finding a better seamstress, it worked out. I was comfy all night running around the woods(no bustle just put the loop on my wrist and it was lovely). I also didn't use a slip, and had cups sewn in. And as a lot have said before, the sash that comes with it folds and lays funny, so I went with a vintage cameo belt. I had many compliments on the dress and was very happy in the end. July 31, 2013
