Perfect Dress! This dress was exactly what I had in mine. We had an outdoor, October wedding in Charleston, SC and I felt beautiful and comfortable. It was a perfect evening and I highly recommend this gown. I did order a wider, ivory sash to replace the one that came with it but otherwise kept the dress as is! October 25, 2011
Gorgeous dress! I had my eyes on this dress several months before I started dress shopping, and then I came for my dress appointment and requested it, it was more than I expected, the lace is absolutely gorgeous, it really makes the dress stand out. I had my wedding at 100 degree weather, and I felt great and beautiful and received so many compliments. I also attached cap sleeves, available at David's Bridal, and they fit perfectly. If you are on a busty side, it does look so much better with the cap sleeves in my opinion. Anyway, this dress was perfect for hot weather, light, airy. The only warning thing - it's a slim fitting dress and although flattering, you will still need a spanx underneath. I had mine under and it was perfect but I did work out my butt off before the wedding to look good in it! Just be aware it's not gong to hide anything and spanx is your best friend in this dress! Wedding Dress... This dress was very beautiful on my wedding day. Even though it was the day before the hurricane and it rained and was so humid, it held up very well. I ordered extra material at the bottom to make cap sleeves. I also pinched the neckline to make a sweetheart neckline. It was very form fitting. Unfortunately I had to wear the bustle the whole day because the ground was soaked. Take some advice if getting married in August in New England have an inside wedding..ha. Well at least we missed the hurricane and the wedding was still beautiful. The alterations cost a lot so shop around for your own seamstress... September 22, 2011
Had My Doubts, But Perfection in the End! I purchased this dress in Oct. 2010, for my July 2011 destination beach wedding. It was the first one I tried on and I loved it, as it fit with our theme, had no fluff, and was SO comfortable and light. After a few months of it sitting in my closet though, I started to have my doubts as I saw other dresses online, on TV, and at friends' weddings. My doubts changed however after alterations. Adding the bustle gave it something extra, I took it in a couple of inches at the top (I lost a little weight since the purchase) and I also added cups, as I felt the wiring beneath the bust was a little harsh. I absolutely LOVED it, and it fit and looked perfect. I also tied the sash around my waist twice, with a bow off to my right side. In the end, making the dress fit me and adding a little flair so it wasn't just an off the rack DB dress made it AMAZING<3 September 7, 2011
