Not the one
I tried this dress in a champagne colour, and while the skirt was just as full as I'd been hoping, the bodice wasn't the right shape for me. I'm 5'2" and it either needed to be shorter or longer. I also didn't like the unfinished tulle edge around the waistline. It might have looked better if I'd tried it with a belt or sash, but there were too many little details that weren't adding up for me. The proportions of the bodice aren't meant for short, skinny girls. If I had been taller or a little broader, it might have looked better, and I was even wearing four inch heels! This is one I had to pass one, in spite of the glorious tulle skirt!

Princess dress
I always said I'd never do the ball gown dress, I wanted more of a mermaid/elegant look. Well, when I put this on, almost as a joke, I didn't want to take it off and couldn't stop smiling! It just makes you feel girly and pretty...seems heavy, but other reviews say it wasn't too bad and worth it, so we will see :)

Best Ballgown Ever!
This was MY dress for a last-minute beach wedding & it was PERFECT...the store worked tirelessly to order it in Soft White & have it ready for me in a mere 21 days. Not only was it was altered to perfection, traveled unbelievably easily on small airplanes, and made me look like a princess, it was light as air to wear (make sure to get the full ballgown petticoat...you will NOT regret it!).
It bustled easily, but I wore the train down & walked around the island, letting it grab onto whatever it found, though it seemed to glide over almost everyting. The hem ended up dirty, but that was it...no rips, tears, or damage...very "sturdy" for such a delicate dress!
I felt like Cinderella & that's what this dress will do for you. VERY well made...nice work Vera...and many thanks to the staff at the Vernon Hills, IL location for making it all happen!
