AMAZING!
I went to DB just to look. I had no intentions of buying. I knew exactly what I wanted. When my consultant picked this dress I was skeptical because it was everything I didnt want. When I put it on my mom cried. When I saw myself in it I cried too. I tried on other dresses but compared them all to this one. After hours of justification with the budget we went back and bought it! So glad I did! Cant wait to wear it!!!!

This was THE dress!!
You will NOT regret this dress! Classic, elegant, and incredibly flattering!
Sounds like my experience was much like other reviewers: walked into DB with a list of favorites from the website. This dress was NOT one of them... I happened to see this on the rack in a 14 as my consultant was pulling dresses but didn't say anything. For sizing purposes, she pulled out a 4P (my size) and it happened to be this dress... since it caught my eye in a larger size, I agreed to try it on. It was the first dress I tried on and didn't immediately fall for it, but knew that I couldn't rule it out. I tried on 8 other dresses, and narrowed it down to this one & one from my original list. I put this one back on in order to compare the two, and both my futuer mother in law and my mom gasped. I burst into tears. We bought it right then and there.

Breathtaking...
With my appointment at DB coming up, I had gone on the website and picked out a number of dresses I'd like to try on. This was one of them, although I had added it to the list almost as an after thought. I really didn't think it would be The Dress. The big shopping day arrived and I took to the racks with my mom and MOH, pulling out several dresses that met my criteria: not "poofy", some details (lace or beadwork), elegant. I also handed our DB consultant my list of 5 or so dresses from the website. I tried on a few dresses and there was one I had liked and my mom and MOH got teary over, so I thought I would just go for it. But then the consultant came over with three of my website dresses... this one included. As she pulled this dress over my head, I got an excited shiver and the moment I stepped out of the room I knew I'd found my dress. My mom and MOH were not only teary-eyed, they were absolutely speechless! And as I stepped in front of the mirrors, the rest of the room went quiet for a moment before one of the other brides in the room exclaimed "THAT dress! Find me that dress!" while pointing at me. Her mother came up to me and told me I'd be a stunning bride. Yep, I had definitely found my dress!

This image doesn't do the dress justice! I was looking for dresses that looked Belle's from Beauty and the Beast, the full ball gown "princess-ie" type dresses. I had randomly opened a page in the bridal gown book after a full day of not finding what I wanted and this was the dress. Once on I couldn't stop smiling, and had a complete stranger compliment me!
