The perfect wedding gown!
I fell in love with this gown immediately the first time I saw it here on the website. It just has this timeless elegance to it that I was looking for.
Just to make sure, I did try on a ball gown, something without lace and a flowy goddess-style gown... but knew immediately that this gown was the one for me.
It was so flattering, elegant, easy to wear, and everybody complimented me on it. Even though the wedding itself was a mess, I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful dress to get married in.
What I would like to say, though, is that the consultant said you always have to go at least a size bigger with wedding dresses. I am a size 6 and ended up purchasing a size 6. I did have to have it taken in a little, and the lady in alterations said I could have probably gotten away with a size 4, since I am kind of small-busted in comparison to the circumference of my hip/butt region.

Stunning
I'm renewing my 15 year anniversary and was looking for something elegant, romantic, and not puffy. I decided to go to the store to see a dress in person, well the one I had in mind didn't blow me away, so right next to it I saw this dress (S8551) it blew me away from the 1st moment I saw it. I try like 3 different gowns and I said,,Nahhh I like this one. So after a second fitting I said this is my dress...My husband is going to be so impress with this one. Thank you David's Bridal for having such a great selection.

Much more beautiful in person
This dress was in my top 5 to try. It was the 3rd one I tried on and knew it was the one. I am only 5'2" and it enhances my body in all the right places. My maid of honor, my daughter, said it was the one too. It feels and looks like a dress for a Princess. I feel both elegant and very beautiful in it. It is even more beautiful in person.

so so so much better in person
this gown wasn't even in my top 10 but it was the one i ended up taking home. in ivory, the embellishment just makes the dress shimmer without outshining the lace or your figure. i was originally opposed to strapless, but fortunately the neckline is high and secure so the overall effect is quite modest. the train is the perfect length for an outdoor or informal ceremony. i tried it on with db's lace bolero jacket (i will have one made from my own lace) and birdcage blusher and felt gorgeous and classy, like grace kelly. i can't wait for my soon-to-be husband to see it!
