THE Dress!!! (even for a larger frame!)
On average, I run between a size 10 and 14. This dress was so stunning in the pictures I reviewed but so many of these brides were smaller than me. I didn't even think to try it on in the store when I went with my family. The consultant didn't even ask...she just brought this one back and said "I really think you should try this one...it has that classic elegance and a wow factor that I think will look great on you." I explained that I thought it would be terrible on me because I'm a little wider in the hips and it has a lot of detail work on it. Boy was I wrong!!! Those DB consultants know their stuff! The dress was absolutely perfect. It was classic, elegant, AND different! My wedding was in the evening and the room was lit by candles and dim lighting. As I walked down the aisle, the light from the candles caught each little jewel on the dress. I never imagined I would look so great on my special day in this dress. Thank you DB!!! Girls with hips...give it a shot in the store!!!

Great Dress
This dress isn't one I would have originally looked at, cuz the price was much higher than my mother could afford. She wanted to pay for the dress and its accessories. The attendant must not have realized this was not the dress I had in "my favorites", but one that was the same style. I tried it on and loved it. The dress actually makes me feel like a bride!
However, when I got to the checkout and discovered that the dress was double the price I wanted my mom to pay, I was devastated. She used her entire tax refund to pay for it and had to not get the things she wanted cuz there was nothing left. She got it anyway cuz the dress really is perfect, but it is a sort of dark spot, knowing how much was sacrificed to pay for it.

Dress of my dreams!!
I went into David's bridal about 3 times looking at dresses. I knew I wanted an all lace dress and a train but didn't want that destination wedding dress feel. I actually went by this dress several times on the hanger but my mom picked it out and asked me to try it on. And was I glad she did!!! This is exactly what I was looking for the detail of the beading and lace was amazing!! Pictures do not do this dress justice!! I added on a white sash to make a finer detail waist. I'm also going to add sleeves using the jacket that matches the material. I'm so excited to wear it on November 5th!! Definitely a must try on!
Also this is an almost exact replica of Jessica Simpsons dress (to Nick) which was a vera wang! I'll post pictures!

The dress of my dream!
My wedding was in August 2010. I'm happy to have chosen this dress because it is really gorgeous. The silhouette in it is very elegant, the train is beautiful and it shines in the sunlight. Pity you cannot see it on photos. The dress is a little heavy but the advantages of the dress make it up and it didn't prevent me from dancing freely on my wedding day. Moreover it doesn't rumple and it looked perfect through all the day. I love my dress!
